The knee replacement surgery was a big success. I am already home and have started my physical therapy. Thanks for your best wishes and prayers

On Tuesday November 1st, I am having my knee replacement surgery. I have been doing my pre-op exercises and think I am ready. I also have taken an aquatic exercise class to prepare. I will keep you posted on my progress.

DANCE STUDIO YARD SALE

On Saturday August 27th, I am having a Yard Sale at my house at 1901 Old Stage Road. The hours are 8:00 AM to 12 :00 noon. Brand new Adult and Children's Ballet,Tap, and Jazz shoes are for sale. Also brand new leotards, skirts and tights are for sale in both adult and children's sizes.

Musical instruments and props of all kinds are also for sale,e.g. tambourines, maracas, dance canes, fans ,streamers, etc. if you have danced here at the studio ,I am sure you remember the extensive collections of musical instruments and props!

Costumes (some brand new) are also for sale: hats scarves, and accessories suitable for dress up or Halloween, maybe?
Studio decorations and deco ,and dance related artwork are also for sale.

One portable free standing adjustable Ballet Barre is also for sale (. Contact me via email immediately if interested in the Barre, [email protected]).

There will also be popular household and personal items available at this yard sale,e.g. Books, CDS, household items , clothes ,etc.

Good Morning ! Today is Recital Day! Our theme is Family ,Friends and Love . It is at Bryant High School on Popkins Lane ,Alexandria next to St. Louis Catholic Church. Act 1 begins at 2 PM. Everyone dancing have a great show. I am very proud .

I have handed out forms to order tights for the Recital. Unfortunately,the size charts on the sheets are not complete. There are more child sizes available in both brands. The correct size charts are available at the Studio. Sorry for any inconvenience.

I just got back from the Studio. The parking lot is not good and the latest weather predictions are also not good . I am cancelling classes for today. I will be calling all students scheduled for today so if you see this like so I won't call you. if you are in the 3:30 Pre-ballet ,an alternate class would be the following:Tuesday at 2:00, Thursday 9:30, Thursday at 2:00, Friday at 3:30 or Saturday at 12:15. If you are in the Introductory Ballet at 4:15, an alternate class would be Tuesday at 5:15, Friday at 4:30 ,or Saturday at 1:00. The 5:15 Elementary Ballet II , may come at Wednesday at 6:30. The Intermediate Tap at 6:15 ,may come Thursday at 5:30 or Wednesday at 5:30. The Ballet Barre / Stretch Class will meet Tuesday at 8:15 pm. Thank you.

Today Monday February 15 th , we are scheduled to be open for classes. However , the weather Is rather unpredictable right now. I will make a decision after I check out the parking lot and road conditions. I expect to post my decision after 1:00 pm. Thank you.
