We absolutely love hearing student success stories! (It's what we live for!) Thank you, Lindsay Sorensen Grider for sharing your daughter's journey and for entrusting her with your local . We hope she continues to thrive and succeed in school & in life!
My daughter was in 2nd grade the year she was virtual. Once school re-opened in person for 3rd grade she was struggling in math. First, we tried tutoring the school offered, but it was generic packets and covered areas she didn’t need help with. Once my daughter was off for summer in between 3rd and 4th grade I wanted to find her additional help. I did not want her hating math and being insecure once math accelerated in 4th grade. I researched multiple places and am thankful I chose to give Sylvan Learning a chance. Sylvan is not pushy with their sales, there is no contract, and the prices are affordable. Mattie the director for the Cotteville location is wonderful with kids and keeps the children engaged and excited to come back. The teachers have been amazing too. My daughter has only been going to Sylvan for the past summer and is almost completely caught up to 4th grade math. The other day she was doing homework and actually made a comment that it was too easy. That brought a huge smile to my face. Thank you Sylvan! Thank you Mattie Ireland Brill!!!

All our Sylvan Learning centers are committed to helping students in the communities we serve to combat the Pandemic learning loss.
