A powerful husband-and-wife team, Drs. Carl and Margaret Wright are devoted to promoting mental health and holistic wellness through faith, ministry, and healing.

As co-founders of the Pueblo Center of Worship and Empowerment (Pueblo, CO), Dr. Carl serves as Pastor and Spiritual Director, while Dr. Margaret serves as Apostolic Overseer and Healing Caregiver. Together, they minister to the whole person—spirit, soul, and body—believing that true healing comes when all are nurtured.

Meet Ádrienne J. Thompson — a powerhouse of talent, faith, and versatility serving as Stage Manager and stepping into the role of Margaret’s Friend #3 in “I Receive Your Love: My Healing Journey.”

From the stage to behind the scenes, Ádrienne has done it all. Her theater credits span leading roles, background vocals, and ensemble performances in productions such as “The Whip, The Hammer, and The Cross,” “Do You Know the Time?,” “Can You Love Me Now?,” “When A Good Man Falls,” and “The Book.”

A gifted singer, gospel recording artist, and ordained minister, she’s lent her voice to gospel groups including Chris Brunson and Anointed and Kevin Lemons and Higher Calling, as well as numerous other artists. Her artistic range extends to liturgical, interpretive, African, and hip hop dance, stand-up comedy, and impromptu skits — always with a passion for uplifting others.

On August 23, Ádrienne brings her skill, creativity, and heart to help bring this Choreo-Play to life — both as a performer and the one helping ensure every moment flows seamlessly.

Meet Melinda Douglass — a Bible Study leader, ordained minister, writer, speaker, dancer, and powerful voice for healing and deliverance.

Melinda serves at Pueblo Center of Empowerment and Worship and is featured in Our Daily Purpose: A Daily Purpose Bible Study and Devotional. She also created the YouTube series “From Broken to Broken,” where she shares her personal testimony of transformation and faith.

As the founder and lead teacher of Bible Study Amongst Friends ministry, Melinda is passionate about helping Millennials build a closer relationship with Christ through prayer, fasting, fellowship, and studying His Word.

Beyond ministry, Melinda is a sister, friend, dog mom to her Yorkie “Love,” and enjoys volunteering, travel, cooking, and dance. Her life and work reflect her belief that “limitation only exists when you don't allow yourself to be broken by God.”

On August 23, Melinda will step into the role of Margaret #2 in “I Receive Your Love: My Healing Journey,” bringing her ministry and life experience to the stage in a powerful way.

Meet Dara Smith — a woman of faith, creativity, and purpose, gracing the stage in “I Receive Your Love: My Healing Journey.”

A servant of the Lord in all she does, Dara has devoted her life to ministry through dance, writing, visual arts, and community service. She has authored three books, including the children’s book The Adventures of Super Tiger: I Love Me (also available in Spanish), and written two plays — one in collaboration with her former pastors. She’s organized impactful faith-based events, often stepping out in faith with little to no budget, trusting God’s provision every step of the way.

Since moving to New Mexico in December 2023, Dara has poured her talents into new assignments from God, running Dara’s Photography LLC and Dara Ann’s LLC, and continuing her ministry in prophetic dance, prayer paintings, and creative media. Her mission is simple yet profound: to let people see the love of God in her.

On August 23, Dara brings her spirit, artistry, and faith to the stage in a Choreo-Play that blends dance, poetry, drama, and song to share a story of resilience, healing, and God’s unwavering love.

Meet Brian Youngkin — a powerhouse husband-and-wife duo bringing artistry, grace, and decades of professional dance experience to “I Receive Your Love: My Healing Journey.”

Brian Youngkin is an accomplished soloist, choreographer, and ballet master whose students have gone on to perform with Cirque du Soleil, Alvin Ailey, Disney, and Jose Limon, and study at elite programs like Juilliard and UNC School of the Arts. As Resident Choreographer and Instructor at Infinity Ballet Conservatory — and co-founder of The Conservatory of Dance Arts (CODA) — his influence has shaped dancers around the world.

On August 23, Brian joins Dr. Margaret B Wright and an incredible cast in a Choreo-Play that blends dance, poetry, drama, and song to tell a moving story of faith, healing, and resilience.

Cari-Lenn Youngkin began her training in Raleigh before joining the prestigious Ailey School in New York City, later joining its staff under the legendary Denise Jefferson. Her stage credits include The Lion King on Broadway, Urban Bush Women, and numerous acclaimed dance companies. As a choreographer, she’s produced award-winning solo works for top competitions and guided students into some of the world’s most distinguished ballet programs.
