May is Asian American/Pacific Islander Heritage Month and this year ASU is recognizing our AAPI community with a week's worth of events. Tomorrow, some AAPI students will be doing a presentation and panel expressing their experiences as AAPI students on our campus. April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month and ASU is collaborating with some local organizations to bring you never-before-seen events to campus. Tomorrow, Tu Casa will be back with their Chalk the Walk and Saturday will be our Tattoo Flash Tattoo event with Get Inked LLC. Come to the SUB Mall Court and get a tattoo! Denim Day 2024 is on the 24th, so don't forget to wear your denim in solidarity and stop by the tabling for some fun giveaways. We hope to see you there! ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ

Q***r Pride @ ASU and SLV Pride are hosting a Spooky Movie Night TOMORROW to celebrate Halloween ๐ŸŽƒ ๐Ÿ‘ป Come out to the CoRE Center for the A24 film Bodies, Bodies, Bodies (Rated R for violence, bloody images, drug use, s*xual references and pervasive language) with free food and door prizes! There will also be sponsored resources of narcan, Hepatitis C testing, and PrEP free to everyone in the Student Health and Wellness Resource Center across the hall! Letโ€™s support our campus and community q***r organizations!

October is National Disability Employment Awareness and ASU is dedicating the week of the 23rd-27th to recognize it. Join us for some educational and fun events that cover the topic of disability broadly. The interactive identification event will create a community piece on disabled identities on campus. Be sure to join us in the CoRE Center Tuesday for a movie emphasizing disabled voices and get some free snack and drinks while youโ€™re at it! On top of all that, we will be collecting data on the disabled experience on campus; you can find the survey linked in our bio. These surveys are important for us to better understand the obstacles that need addressed to create a more equitable campus. We are excited to see you there!

Halloween night, come get your candy and check out the amazing trunks put together by ASU clubs, organizations, departments, and community partners. Healing takes a village. Having a support system can make all the difference. Tu Casa Inc. is hosting a Domestic Violence Support Group to help those victims in our community.
