It's graduation day for Justice! She completed high school and construction training through our YouthBuild USA program and Life Skills High Schools. Now she's part of our Building Value team and eager to test out her skills on the deconstruction team!
The Melrose YMCA will be working with four major community partners to expand services in Walnut Hills! Younglife, Easterseals Serving Greater Cincinnati, Life Skills High Schools, City Gospel Mission and the YMCA are stronger together.
This past Thursday Sinclair hosted the Life Skills High Schools Graduation and gave away 2 Taylor Scholarships to attend Sinclair!
The Life Skills program is designed for 16-21 year old students facing barriers in traditional high school.
We spoke with Ramone Kenney, Inside Sales Manager for Elsevier, about the event. Ramone was in their shoes at one point in time, and now he has a desire to inspire those students to reach for bigger and better things. Check it out!

Congratulations to the Lifeskills FRC team “Iron Thunder” for receiving the Rookie Inspiration Award at the Buckeye Regional First Robotics event in Cleveland over the weekend!
The team received the award for their “outstanding success in advancing respect and appreciation for engineering and Engineers, both within their school, as well as in their communities."
LIFE SKILLS HIGH SCHOOL of COLUMBUS NORTH is a rookie FIRST Robotics team and recipient of a STEM Equity grant from FIRST Robotics through the CORI Girls Who Lead Robotics program.
