Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours! Enjoy the food and fellowship with your loved ones.

As you reflect on all the things you are grateful for, please consider blessing our students and community next week Tuesday (12/1).

On December 1, we will harness the collective energy of the Saints community. Our church members, alumni, parents, friends, students, faculty and staff will come together to support the school on OSLS's first-ever Day of Giving.

Every gift of every size makes an impact. Let's see the power we have when our community comes together. Positive impact!

Help us by spreading the news to 10 friends and family members, neighborhood companies, or make an announcement at your house of worship. Thank you for helping to inspire 500 Saints to give!

2015 National Lutheran Schools Week
Lutheran schools are "Standing in Christ, Serving Others." Lutheran schools confess Christ. Lutheran schools worship Christ. Lutheran schools teach Christ. Lutheran schools serve Christ by serving others. "Standing in Christ," Lutheran schools become God's means of sharing and showing His grace to fellow members of the school and church family, to the community and into the world. Lutheran schools are "Serving Others" in Jesus' name.

Lutheran High School of Hawaii

2015 National Lutheran Schools Week
Theme: Standing in Christ, serving others.
Scripture says, "For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many" (Mark 10:45 ESV).
Dr. Martin Luther wrote, "The greatest of all service is to free him [my fellow man] from sins, to liberate him from the devil and hell. But how is this done? Through the Gospel, by preaching it to him and telling him that he should cling to the works of Christ and firmly believe that Christ's righteousness is his and his sins are Christ's. This, I say, is the greatest service I can render my fellow man."

Join the congregation of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church on Sunday, January 25, 9 a.m. Together we will celebrate the beginning of National Lutheran Schools Week. Open house to follow at 10:45am

Colin qualified for the 2013 Callaway Jr World Championships, Torrey Pines, CA and the 2013 Adams Tour Championship, Forest Ackers, Michigan State University. He will also participate in the west coast college golf combine at Beaumont, CA.

He is awaiting board results to see if he qualified to play in The First Tee Nature Valley Championship at Pebble Beach, CA, an annual sponsored and highly recognized junior/pro pairing tournament.

These events will help Colin's national ranking and move him closer to his dream of playing college golf.
