We are excited to announce that beginning April 27 under our provisional license we can begin accepting children of essential workers. The B Hive is a newly formed and opened daycare at 415 Mill Road, Suite A in Adrian. Loving daycare/preschool for infant thru school age. At this time we cannot accept DHS. Call or text now for more information . Lobby open Today & Saturday from 10-4pm for on-site enrollment.

I am working on some things to get back open, but as a small center in Adrian , waiting for a preliminary inspection to make sure the space would be a good fit .

Goodbyes are hard, but I am lucky to have had something that makes saying goodbye so hard!

I appreciate each and every family that walked through my doors, each child that has carved a little piece in my heart , each employee that joined our program and became a part of my family.

I will miss opening my garage door come Monday morning, but will also enjoy the quite time with just my husband in the morning as we get ready for work.

I know this isn't goodbye forever, Adrian is small ( I have learned this over the years lol) I will see you at the store, school events or sporting events ! I will be there with a hug for each kiddo I see!!!

Field trip was a success ! And some even snuck in a nap when we got back !!!

Attention ---Attention!!!!
Tuesday we will be going to the movies!!!! We are only taking children 3 and over! We will be seeing Dora ! I am excited to see this one! lol! The movie starts at noon.

Kaycee and I will be taking the kids on the Dial - A - Ride. I will cover the cost of the bus ride for all the kids . We called the Dial -A-Ride asking about car seats, they said it was up to the parent. I really prefer not to take them. I am trying to remember when we took the bus last, I thought there were some seats that had built in car seats, but I will call Monday to be sure. The problem with taking car seats is we can't leave them in the bus, so we need to take them out store them somewhere at the theater and then install them at pick up.

The movie on Tuesday is $5 to get in and then $5 for a kid snack pack. So your child will need $10 to go. If this causes a hardship please let me know.

Tara will be back Tuesday to stay back with the babies and toddlers !! ❤️❤️

I will have permission slips ready on Monday!!!

Wednesday will be water day! Bring a towel and bathing suit!

Alexander Elementary

Alexander registration days for the 2019/20 school year are on August 19 from 2-6pm and August 20 from 8-11am. All current and new students should plan to come during one of the time slots. This is when you will update your registration information, fill out paperwork for the new school year and update your address (must provide proof of residency to update address). When all paperwork has been completed and turned in you will receive your child’s teacher placement for the year. If you have any questions, the office opens on August 13th. Please call 517-263-9533 on or after August 13.

Today , July 23rd , I will be off. I am surprising my kids and taking them to the Fair this afternoon.
Kaycee will be in charge while I am away , and we will be fully staffed.
I will be available through text if needed and Kaycee will reach out to me if she needs me. However I trust my staff can handle the day!

Quick reminder of our drop off policy .

Children must be dropped off by 930am
Please stick close to your drop off times that you wrote on your contract , if you need a copy of that please just let me know

I know summer schedules are not as restrictive ... however I have staff that rely on a schedule and hours . I base their schedule on children’s arrival. So if you are coming at 8am , 9am and then 10am. I end up having employees bored because there are too many staff and not enough kids , or vice versa , I figure the children will be dropped off at 930 and then three families come early I have too many children and not enough staff .
There needs to be consistency to properly run my business. If you need a different time then just shoot me a text prior so I can arrange schedule if needed.

The garage will close by 930 , if you are not here by then you will need to find alternative care.

This also goes for pick up times. If you are scheduled to pick up your child at 4 , that’s when they need to be picked up , please don’t just leave your child(ren) here until 5pm because thats when I close. If you get off work early etc, please come get your children. It’s not fair if an employee needs to stay after because you are running errands.

I ask that parents respect my policies , my time and my home.
