Are you doing free horse rides this year and if so when? 😊

Our goal for 2020 is to have all of our normal activities that you love, but with a few changes. We've put a lot of time and energy into creating a fun family environment that can be enjoyed safely, we can't wait to have you on the farm this fall!

Opening Saturday, September 19th at 10 am 🎃

A couple more loads picked today!

4 days 🎃

This little piggie is ready to say hi! 👋🏼

5 more days 🎃

The barn is starting to fill up: 7 days!

Just 8 more days! 🎃

We are making progress towards being able to welcome everyone to the farm safely (more COVID updates will be posted at the first of the week). We’ve started picking squash this week and can’t wait to share all of the beautiful produce with you!!

Carpenter Farms's cover photo

Thank you all who entered our Farm Crate giveaway! We had around 300 entries and put them into a random simulator to choose the winner. We had someone come forward who wanted to sponsor a second box, so we got to choose two winners!!

Our winners are: Mrs. Face, Madison Elementary and Mrs. Pifer, Michener Elementary!

Set up is coming along nicely. The barn is slowly taking shape, it won't be long until we are ready to welcome you all to the farm this fall!

We've had many questions regarding the season, hopefully this will answer some questions:

We will be open September 19- October 31st, 10 am - 7 pm daily.

Our goal is to have all of our normal daily activities (corn maze, straw pit, hayrides, etc) but with limitations. As of now, this plan will include: limiting the number of guests inside the barn at one time if needed, sanitation measures, limiting the number of patrons on hayrides, etc. The logistics of implementing all of these changes has our heads spinning a bit, as our plan becomes clearer to us we will post more details on how we will be operating.

The order sent out this week from the Lenawee County Health Department limiting the number of people at organized events in our township to 25 means that we will be unable to have our craft show, ag day, fire and public safety day, etc. While we are sad to have to cancel these organized events, please know that the farm will still be open for our normal activities on those days.

We appreciate everyone's patience and understanding as we navigate all of these changes, we can't wait to see you soon!

‼️ Giveaway ‼️

Attention Lenawee County Teachers:

We know field trips will be few and far between this fall, we want to help a local teacher bring the farm to the classroom! We will sponsor one classroom to receive 4 months of the farm crate subscription from Michigan Farm Bureau.

To nominate a class or to enter your own classroom comment below with:

🍎 Teacher’s Name
🍎 Teacher’s School
🍎 Teacher’s Grade(s)

Lenawee County classrooms only please. Materials available for grades K-5. No need to be a teacher to enter a classroom in the contest: feel free to enter your child’s classroom, your favorite teacher’s classroom, etc.

A winner will be randomly selected Sunday (September 6) at 7 pm!

[09/02/20]   We are in search of some hard working general laborers for our pumpkin season. Must be able to do heavy lifting and bending. This would be for our morning shift. Also, possibly a few for our PM shift. Please PM us for details. Thank you.

Congratulations to Ben and Abby who tied the knot on Saturday! It was the most beautiful day ❤️
