SHU's outstanding music faculty is proud to offer instrumental and vocal music to all who are interested. Our mixed choruses feature students, staff and community members.
The SHU Music Department is a fine place to start or further one's music education. Goals:
1. The Department is dedicated to the idea that music is an integral part of a liberal arts education.
2. The Department’s approach to music education is based on the idea that music is an important part of all students’ lives, creating more balanced, tolerant, and ethical human beings.

The SHU Music Department is pleased to announce that Mr. King has been selected to present at the 2017 Michigan Music Conference. He will be presenting his session "What the Tech Am I Doing?" to help guide less tech-savvy music educators in making solid software and hardware choices with limited budgets. More information to come as the event approaches.
