The Adrian Schools Educational Foundation has pledged to make a $10,000 gift for three years to Adrian Public Schools to aid in band and orchestra instrument replacement. Matching the pledge is the Elizabeth Ruthruff Wilson Foundation of Tecumseh and the school district will also match the amount. This will give the district $90,000 through 2020 to be used to replace aging instrument fleets. The Foundation's gift will come from the Arts Endowment begun by the Argyros Family Foundation whose president is Julia (Judie Henderson) Argyros '58. Pictured are ASEF President Michael Olsaver, Sheri Powers of the Wilson Foundation and APS Superintendent Bob Behnke. Thanks to many donors, the Foundation was able to give the district $81,000 in classroom grants for the 2017-18 school year.
