1896-2012 St. Joseph Academy was a Catholic school sponsored by the Adrian Dominican Sisters in Adrian, MI. Over its 115 years of education, it had many configurations, including girls' boarding school, high school, elementary & middle school, as well as being the first home to the Montessori preprimary and toddler programs.
Operating as usual
Sister Leonor Esnard is searching for former students who made up the first Montessori preprimary class at St. Joseph Academy in Adrian, Michigan in 1971-72. These students would have been ages 3-4 at the time in the class taught by Sister Leonor and Sister Anthonita Porta. Sister Leonor would love to find out how they are doing and perhaps plan a reunion. If you know how to get in touch with any of these people, please contact ADMTEI (Adrian Dominican Montessori Teacher Education Institute) or email Sister Leonor directly at [email protected]. Thanks for your assistance in this project!
