Second Grade Service Project
Calling all second graders! As a second grade team, we wanted to continue to spread kindness by doing some outreach projects. Today it is going to be writing a letter to our elderly at Heather Hills giving them notes of love, encouragement, and support because they can no longer have visitors. Heather Hills will even be posting them on Facebook as they really want to see how many cards they can collect. Remember your letter has to have an opening, body paragraphs with several sentences each, and a closing. When you are done writing, be sure to go back and reread your work, edit and revise, making corrections as necessary. Be sure to add a lot of color and decorations. You are all amazingly creative and have to power to bring a smile to someone's day!
