This is not a post we want to make but The JR Class Prom Comittee is sad to announce that we are not going to be able to have prom on July 25th. The CCHS girls athletic groups have been canceled until the 27th due to a potential Covid case. As a committee we have talked with several higher ups from the school and feel this is the right decision. We dont want to hinder the potential of school starting on track and hopefully our kids getting to enjoy sports, band, cheer etc. The junior class dues will not be refunded. We hope to use these funds in the future for a dance of some kind. Please understand where we are coming from as parents. We want what is best for our kids and our community!!!

Prom is Scheduled. There will be no refunds because the funds taken up were class dues not payment for prom. I hope everyone can come!

Attention CCHS Juniors and Seniors. Prom is scheduled for July 25 at Lake Tiak’o’khata! They have our deposit and we have a DJ! Some decorations have been bought and catering has been arranged. We are full speed ahead!

I am so very sad that it is the 25th and we are not having Prom today But we are hopeful to post a new date very soon. Keep watching! 👀

I know you all, just like I,are wondering about prom. No one has discussed it with me. Since prom isn’t considered a school function anymore and it is paid for by students and put on by parents then we are not( that I know of) under school guidelines. We are of course going to do what the governor of MS recommends. If we need to postpone we will but I hope to still have our kids a great prom! Hey JUNIORS!
I will be at school Wednesday, February 26th to pick up any final prom fees and sucker sales money. Thanks!

Only half of the junior class has paid prom dues!! If you (or your child) is planning on going to prom payment is due ASAP!

The 3rd and next to last chance to pay class dues will be Wednesday!🙂

Thank you to all the CCHS juniors and their parent for getting those dues in! Your account at renaissant bank is growing! The first wave of dues collected will allow us to book a venue and start ordering decorations and finally food. There will be a third day after 2nd semester begins to turn in dues. We will announce that date here on your page and at school. Thank you again and enjoy a wonderful and safe Christmas break!
