Founded in 1987, Philliber has evaluated hundreds of programs across the United States and abroad. Philliber has a multi-disciplinary team of researchers, program evaluators, data analysts and support staff at offices in New York, Washington D.C., and California. Each of our evaluation projects is supervised by a senior staff member with a Ph.D.-level degree.

AN EVALUATION OF THE IMPACT OF KIDS ON CAMPUS 2000
According to Philliber Research Associates, Kids on Campus impacted the community in 3 major ways.
"Kids on Campus improved academic performance from Spring to Fall.
•21% of the participants, but only 10% of the non-participants, improved their writing grades.
•24% of the participants, compared to 17% of the non-participants, increased their reading grades.
•23% of the particpants, but only 18% of the non-participants, improved math grades.
Kids on Campus prepared its participants for the spring proficiency assessments.
•Participants taking the CTBS/Terra Nova who had been in Kids on Campus two or more years were more likely than one year participants to show higher scores in the areas of reading, math, citizenship, science, and writing.
•On the Ohio Proficiency-Based Assessments, Kids on Campus participants who had attended two or more years were more likely than one year participants to be proficient in reading, math, citizenship, science, and writing.
Kids on Campus allowed parents of participants to be employed during the summer of 2000.
•Of those parents whose children were new participants this past summer, 76% of the parents had planned to be employed during the summer of 2000. The previous summer, 41% of these same parents indicated that they took care of their children while they were out of school."

In 2011, CAS-Carrera received an EMCF Social Innovation Fund investment to create of a National Accreditation and Training Center to provide technical assistance to local organizations replicating its afterschool program; establish its in-school program at sites in up to four states; and evaluate the in-school model.
