I had hoped to be able to get back to doing programs, parties and special events in 2020, but with the new state restrictions in New Mexico starting Monday and the increased risk with the pandemic The Dinosaur Lady bookings are on hold until further notice.
Thank you all for your support and concern through this health crisis. It has certainly been a rough time for many of us! I wish you health and blessings this holiday season and look forward to better opportunities in 2021.


I am hoping all are staying safe and well. I have had to cancel programs and events because of Covid-19. I miss sharing time with folks and look forward to the future when this situation has passed and we can gather together again.
Here I am with fellow paleontologist friend Jenny BORST who I worked with for a time at the Ghost Ranch museums. We worked together teaching kids about fossils and dinosaurs and it’s the best time ever.

This was my first Jurassic World party - quite fun especially with my Jurassic park music playing in the background - great job mom!


Happy Birthday Dorian in Longmont. This set up was in a good sized room and we did the craft painting project at the cake/food table. It worked great for the 20 kids at this 8 year olds party!


Visited the dinosaur quarry quarry at Ghost Ranch. I had never seen it in the snow! Glad I'm not digging there right now. :)

[06/20/15]   Well, time for my last birthday party before leaving to work in the field uncovering more fossils at Ghost Ranch ---- tomorrow I'll be in Boulder on Pine Street sharing stories, fossils, rocks and fun with a young man named Matthew.


Connie is a lover of the Southwest and earth science. She is an earth science educator with certification in field paleontology and has a unique blend of education in paleontology, geology and archaeology, and theater. She also offers birthday parties for children ages 3 - 10 and programs or school presentations in the Northern New Mexico area. She is also an instructor at Ghost Ranch in Abiquiu, NM where she leads workshops in various fields. She was also part of the crew that was filmed in the Hayden Quarry at Ghost Ranch for the 2008 IMAX movie 'Dinosaurs Alive' and she is an accomplished metal artist and singer/songwriter. All of her education and talents combine to create a unique, amazing experience as 'The Dinosaur Lady'.
