Yesterday we had our Polar Express π Party! We made our Name train π and decorated a wooden train π. We got our tickets π« for The Polar Express and enjoyed the train π ride! We got one of the bells π from Santaβs sleigh! We opened gifts π from Ms Jenn. Merry Christmas π!!
Yesterday was Santa π
Day! We decorated stockings and laced them with yarn. We got our energy out with Danny Go Superheroes π¦Έ brain break.
We had music πΆ with Ms Amy that afternoon! We sang Christmas π songs, played the jingle bells π, and decorated a tree.
Inclusion matters for Everyone
Today was Grinch Day! That mean Grinch wrecked havoc in our playroom! He decorated the tree with candy canes that he licked green! We had fun playing Grinch games this morning and listening to The Grinch who Stole Christmas π. We painted a Grinch face. We made magic Grinch dust so he wouldnβt steal our Christmas π. We had a pizza π party for lunch. We decorated Christmas π tree cookies for an afternoon snack!
Today was Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer Day! We came downstairs to see that we grew candy canes! We read, Olive the Other Reindeer. We made reindeer food with oats, a sprinkle of magic and a touch of love β€οΈ. We had a Rudolph lunch! We played Pin the Red Nose on Rudolph. We had a reindeer snack. We were able to enjoy being outside!
Today was all about Candy Canes! We started off the morning with a candy cane hunt. We learned about patterns and designed our own candy cane. We made a candy cane ornament. We danced to the Candy Cane Crush! We planted candy cane seed in magic cotton and said the magic words, Merry Christmas π! We will check tomorrow to see if candy canes grew!

Yesterday we made gingerbread playdough! We used gingerbread cookie cutters and decorated our gingerbread men. We identified numbers 1-20. We made paper bag gingerbread houses! We had a gingerbread house snack that afternoon!
Today we read Gingerbread Baby. We recalled the animals in the story. We identified numbers 1-10. We painted gingerbread ornaments and sprinkled spices on them to make them smell like real gingerbread!
We had Spanish with Ms Jess! We learned how to say and identify numbers in Spanish. We also learned Christmas π
πwords in Spanish. We played BINGO with our new Christmas words too!
This week is all about the Gingerbread Man! Today we went on a hunt to find the gingerbread cookies! We read The Gingerbread Man. We identified the letter Gg. We decorated a gingerbread man. We made houses for our gingerbread men out of magnatiles. We did an experiment with gingerbread men cookies. We put a cookie in water, vinegar and milk and watched to see what happened to them.
Today we had music πΆ with Ms Amy! We listened to Christmas π Songs and played the drums. We learned about tempo and met Presto the Cat π±. We learned about the bongos and we even got to play them! We played Silent Night game where we had to go through a hula hoop without ringing the bells.
Today we practiced rhyming words. We matched the gifts π to the Christmas π trees. We reviewed prepositional words with an elf and tree. We made a snowy night craft with trees π². We used our fine motor skills using tweezers to put ornaments on trees. We celebrated Kairiβs 4th birthday π today with a pizza π party and cupcakes π§! We made Christmas π tree snacks this afternoon!
