STAR PUPPY PROGRAM
Puppies must be less than one year old at the end of the class. The American Kennel Club S.T.A.R. Puppy Program is a 6-week incentive program to get dog owners and their puppies off to a good start. Training classes include socialization skills, information on puppy raising including house training, chewing, and the most effective way to teach practical skills such as coming when called. The class is led by an AKC approved Canine Good Citizen Evaluator, with a test at the end of the course. Upon passing the test you will receive an application to send to the AKC to receive the Star Puppy Medal and be listed in the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy records. For puppies up to one year of age. Participants will need to bring shot records for canines to class as proof of appropriate vaccinations and Bordetella is required.

CANINE MANNERS CLASS
Are you the top dog in your home, or is your dog the one who runs the show? Be the master of your domain once again by enrolling Fido in this beginning course to help you gain control! This course will cover basic training in come, sit, down, greeting strangers, stay, and heel along with basic behavioral conditioning to establish pack order in the household. Participants must be strong enough to handle their dog. Participants will need to bring shot records for canine to class as proof of appropriate vaccinations and Bordetella is required.

ELECTROFORMING
Learn the intricate process of fusing copper onto another medium where a low voltage charge is passed through the materials to create a relief that becomes a separate part in its own rite, allowing artists to create thicker copper structures, layered over other materials in this 3-week class.

Location: Most concerts will be held in Melgaard Park in the center circle on the Band’s portable Showmobile stage. The July 4th concert is scheduled at Wylie Park in the circle west of the Storybook Land parking lot.

Concessions at Concerts: Concessions will be available at the concerts including pop, water, popcorn and candy. Concessions at Melgaard Park will be provided by the Aberdeen Lioness Club and concessions at Wylie Park will be provided by park staff.

Today's a busy day out at the Kuhnert Arboretum! The new park was officially opened with a ribbon cutting at 12:00 p.m.

Then tonight at 7:00 p.m. there is the last Tuesday Night Activity of the Summer - Bird Suncatcher Mobile.
