As this school year comes to a close (today for the older kids) I (Natasha) just wanted to thank everyone for this crazy year. There were times this year that the PTO was hectic or frustrating but there were times it was so much fun. Thankfully we were able to get the tricky tray in just before everything shut down and (thanks to Sandra's awesome fundraising, Adriana's decorating, and Dorothy's general lunacy ♥), we raised money that will go towards next year now.

Sadly we say goodbye to Megan this year as her daughter is off to kindergarten... I can't tell how much you will be missed. I've made some great friends this year who I know will be forever friends. I hope next year we see some more people who want to be a part of all the fun!

This year did not end in the most traditional way, but all of these kids deserve so much credit.. So do the teachers and the parents. I hope everyone has a great summer and I look forward to seeing everyone around as things start to open. Congratulations to all of the kids going to kindergarten next year. We are a Ravine Drive family so please feel free to reach out if you have any questions about kindergarten there.

Matawan United Methodist Church Food Pantry

478 Atlantic Ave., Aberdeen (near the high school)

Hours: Every Thursday 10:00 am to 11:30 am and 2nd and 4th Tuesday evenings 6:30pm to 7:30 pm

This is a drive through pantry. Entry is from the Church Street side of the building.
Each family is given a bag of basics, a choice of meat and eggs and cereal.
They try to have a bonus item each week as well (e.g. detergent, coffee, toilet paper).
During the pandemic there is no registration required.
A person/family may attend only once a week.

We (Dorothy, Megan, Sarah, and even Ms. Lazur) have been hard at work trying to make it special with all these limitations.We have a few things in the works, but we are hoping today people will share what makes each of the teacher's aides in their child's class special.
