Since May I had stopped posting about Taramata events. They have still been happening but I kept the focus on those folks who had already been present in the community. Because I knew I had to address the elephant in the room.... and wanted to do this with folks who were certain of my genuine love for them.

The reasons why might be obvious. I am a woman of color & social worker. First hand navigation of inequity in America is not new to me. It was the burden my parents bore as immigrants, and has been reflected in how I work, who I serve & raise my children.

This extends to working with energy, and all forms of healing arts which I am blessed to practice. We can use this energy to support us in being brave and strong as we work through our shadows. Because we all participate in opressive systems. Period. And most of us do not want to. The work is hard, but support is closer than you think if you have the genuine desire.

Treat yourself to an evening of elevated vibrations! Crystal Wands & Crystal Bowls is a unique practice born of deep friendship & healing collaboration. Rosie Lazroe invites the healing sounds of crystal bowls to create a cocoon of uplifting frequencies, while Anita shares her love of working with crystal wands to intentionally direct energy. The practice begins with a brief meditation integrating sound and crystal vibrations. You will be guided to program a crystal wand (we will have many on hand to use) with a "sankalpa," statement of your hearts’ desire. What follows will be a yin yoga practice during which you will be wrapped in the melodious vibrations of a crystal sound bath. After a brief savasana, we will take the ancient ta***ic practice of yoga nidra, enhanced with the vibrations of your programmed crystal wand. The complete practice will be Reiki infused.
