Yesterday, Prof. Adipala Ekwamu, Executive Secretary, RUFORUM Network, gave me books he authored for Bishop Stuart University and another pack for Mbarara University of Science and Technology-Official. We also discussed different areas of community engagement and entrepreneurship for BSU.

FRAME 2: On the extreme right, is Ms. Juliet Ochienghs, the Coordinator, Forum for African Women Vice-Chancellors (FAWoVC), housed at Makerere University under the leadership of Prof. Mary Okwakol and the VC of BSU is a member of FAWoVC.

We believe grooming and mentoring females as academic leaders is rather crucial in Africa and beyond. We hope for more projects by RUFORUM at BSU including the Graduate Teaching Assistantship (GTA) Ph.D. training in 2023.

Happy Weekend and stay blessed.

Yesterday, I joined fellow Rotarians for a safe motherhood fundraising run to support the Neonatal Ward at Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital where Bishop Stuart University was among the sponsors of the event. What's outstanding is that I got a gold medal for senior runners. I ran from Rotary House - Kiyanja through Mahembegente, Ntare Rd back to Rotary House (5km). This poses a challenge to many of us to get out of our comfort zones and start showing up for such. Rotary Club Of Mbarara Rotary House Mbarara Rotary International Rotaract
