We shared Divine economy model books with kawempe youth centre & a representative from Arua community to help in the understanding of economics and entrepreneurship.

Yesterday, 22th/ Oct/2022, We were privileged to engage in an amazing partnership outreach with the former Guild President of IUIU( Mr Kakande),his team and Leadminds Africa in a training & career guidance sessions to Pupils in Gombe Umea Primary School in Butambala District.

The sessions were on Self Leadership & Confidence, career talks, role models, sanitary pads training and eventually a donation.
Great thanks to everyone who made this a success.

Such a timely training,such a hopeful future. Mtindo Network is one of the 30 CSOs that have successfully undergone a 2 weeks training aimed at increasing capacities in areas; Leadership & Governance, monitoring & evaluation,planning & Directing ,resource Mobilization & Management and policy & legal compliance.

We had an engagement call today with Focus Initiative Africa, a prospective partner for the Economic Baraza Project.
Focus Initiative Africa is a not- for profit community based organisation found in Arua city,in the West Nile region of Uganda.

F.I.A works to champion environmental conservation, agricultural development, ICT Development, basic & financial literacy education.

Not all knowledge is expressed as a price, but all knowledge is relative, and it is the market where such knowledge is accessible to humans.
The market can be described as unplanned order. It is economic action in the market that creates wealth.
For the sake of human enlightenment and for the sake of human prosperity the market needs to be unhampered.
Human intervention in the market is
inevitably a corruption and a disruption of the divine economy.

Yesterday was day 5 of the training Academy by Civil Society Strengthening Network ,we are blessed to be participating in this. the module's focus was on understanding & designing the Leadership & Governance action Plans, legal & policy action Plans for the different CSOs in the training.
This module will help the different young CSOs work on having the different fundamental structures & documents in place to enable better & swift work.

The focus today was on board formulation & composition,their specific duties & responsibilities.

Day 3 of the CSSN training Academy focused on Organisational leadership & Governance, and
Understanding the qualities and most fundamental requirements for having effective leadership & management teams e.g Boards, Management teams, secretariats etc.

We also looked at the ideal Governance documents to help you formulate your teams; Articles of Incorporation,
By laws, and Mission Statement.

Day 2 of the Academy by Civil Society Strengthening Network focused on analysing the civil Society work environment& how to overcome some the pressing challenges, understanding the different working documents & policies under which the CSOs Operate.

Day 1 of the Academy in the project"rebuilding civc space by Civil Society Strengthening Network " focused on legal & policy compliance by Civil Society organisations in the Kampala Metropolitan Area.

This 14 days Academy will help deepen understanding on the policy & legal frameworks, Leadership and Governance structure of organizations etc that will aim at improving the constructual capacities of these young organizations and think tanks helping champion community development initiatives in their respective societies.

As a young think tank, our focus is dedicated to improving our program development, capacity and management to help champion our mission much better.
