Our community is the heartbeat of everything we do—and it’s our privilege to serve the incredible people who walk through our doors each week, ready to grow, learn, and challenge themselves.

But none of this would be possible without the dedication and heart of our coaching team. These folks pour themselves into this academy—balancing full-time jobs, family life, and countless hours on the mat—all to provide 6 days a week of world-class jiu jitsu, with 12 adult sessions and 9 youth classes every single week.

They’re not just coaches—they’re role models, mentors, and teammates who believe in building something special right here at home.

👤 Coach David: Co-founder of TCI Training Center, David brought this vision to life after years of training with his brothers under Amal Easton in Colorado. He’s been the driving force behind our mission to create a space for serious training and real community.

👩‍🏫 Coach Syd: The backbone of the youth program and our behind-the-scenes operations, Syd wears many hats and keeps everything running smoothly. Her leadership and care have played a huge role in how quickly our academy has grown and thrived.

🌅 Coach Shaun: If you’ve trained in the mornings, you’ve probably been motivated by Shaun. He leads our early classes with purpose and positivity, helping people kick-start their day with discipline, encouragement, and great training.

📚 Coach Norm: Our very first homegrown purple belt from the Turks and Caicos Islands, Norm is a dedicated student of the art. While studying law in the UK, he continues to sharpen his skills and brings back valuable new perspectives every time he returns to the island.
