Each participant was given a tailoring machine as a startup kit.

Last year, BRAC International, through the Accelerating Impact for Young Women (AIM) initiative, supported three technical institutes in Kono, one of which was the Christian Leadership Technical Vocational Institute. Nearly a year has passed since we began training our students, and today, on the 26th of November, BRAC International has gathered representatives from these institutes to celebrate the graduation of our students at the Sessie Gbenda Hall in the community.

During the ceremony, I had the honor of addressing the audience as the Director of the Christian Leadership Technical Vocational Institute. I emphasized the importance of this opportunity for our students and expressed our gratitude for the support and resources provided by BRAC International. Each student received a startup kit as part of our commitment to help them embark on their professional journeys.

I would like to give all the glory to God for the success of this event. It has been a rewarding journey, and I am proud of our students and their accomplishments. Thank you to everyone who attended and supported this significant milestone in our students'

Brac students at the Christian Leadership Technical Vocational Institute received their materials today, as we promised to provide these materials each term.

We have already secured a space for the internships for two students who will start tomorrow at Tankoro. Details about the tailoring location will be updated tomorrow as they prepare to start.

**Updates on the Visit from the Country Director of BRAC SL and His Team**
**Date: April 8, 2025**
Today, the Country Director for *BRAC SL* paid a courtesy visit to the Christian Leadership Technical Vocational Institute in Kania New-Site, Koidu.

During a productive meeting with the *Director of the Institute, John Komba* *Ngaojia* , the Country Director expressed his admiration for the discussion and insights shared regarding the institute's operations. Following this, he engaged with a cross-section of students in the tailoring department, asking questions related to their coursework. The students impressively demonstrated their knowledge by answering all the questions posed.

The Country *Director* made a commitment to provide eight participants with a tailoring machine and startup kits upon the completion of their course. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to him and his team for this generous support.

He encouraged the students to remain focused on their studies to achieve their goals and commended their tutor, *Komba Mendakia* , for his dedication and hard work.

As a memorable conclusion to the visit, we took a group photo together.
