Arild Røkenes ved UiT - reiselivsfag og jeg har noen år jobbet med å få lagd en håndbok om Risikostyring og HMS i naturbasert reiseliv. Blant annet gjennom Workshop arbeid med bedrifter her på Svalbard. Nå er vi ferdige.

Last week it was a meeting regarding guiding in nature at the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries. We were a group of around 30 from both the industry, education institution and associations. Also two successful and engaged ANGs: Rasmus from Hvitserk and Johannes from Outdoorlife Norway.
The clear message from the industry and most of the education institutions / organisations was that the nature guide role must be strengthened and that the tourism industry of Norway need a guide certification. Johannes and Rasmus spoke convincing and with a practical insight regarding the need of professionalization of the nature guide role.
