The AAIS Family is deeply saddened by the recent tragedies that befell two AAISians and Lions, Jethro Pechon (who passed away last month), and Sami Adorable (who passed away early today). Let us all pray for the family, friends, and loved ones that Jethro and Sami have left behind. Although no words can help ease the loss you all bear, may you find strength in the thought that your loved ones are praying for you during this time of sorrow. We pray that your loved ones comfort you, for your faith to uphold you, and for the loving memories to help you smile again.

AAISians, may we all honor the lives of Jethro, Sami, and anyone we know who have passed away at a young age by cherishing and being grateful for the life God has lent us.

"Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes." James 4:14

Rest in Peace, Jethro and Sami.

Pero nakakabusog ang taos pusong paglilingkod, pamamahagi, at pag-aambag para sa ating mga kababayan. Sharing is caring! Share what you can through the best way you know how (Red Cross, Hope in a Bottle, Sagip Kapamilya, or AAIS Project Hope). God bless!

ANNOUNCEMENT: Tomorrow, AAIS will start relief operations for PROJECT HOPE. We will be accepting donations for our fellow kababayans who have been affected by the flooding in Metro Manila. It has been reported that 23 people have died and more than 1.2 million Filipinos have been affected by the deluge, 783,000 of which have been forced to flee from their homes.

We ask your kind and generous hearts to give to our fellow Filipinos who badly need relief assistance. Donations in cash and/or in kind are most welcome. We assure you that the flood victims will receive your donations, just as the Typhoon Ondoy victims in 2009 and Typhoon Sendong victims in 2011 have when you donated to them through us.

What the victims need: Lots of bottled water, ready-to-eat food (cookies, biscuits, bread, canned gods), medical supplies and medicine, clothes, towels, and blankets. Used clothes, towels, and blankets will do.

We will also be needing balikbayan boxes for the donations in kind.

You can drop-off your donations at the Al-Andalus International School campus from 8AM - 6PM. Our school is located at Muhammad Al Fateh Street, Al Rakah, Al Jenobia.

Please look for Mrs. Hazel Tabafunda, Mr. Troy Malagapo, or Mr. Joe Delova. Contact us at 858-0097 for more information.

Please spread the word! Thank you and God bless!

We are knocking on your generous hearts to provide relief assistance to our fellow kababayans at Cagayan de Oro and Iligan who were greatly affected by Typhoon Sendong. They urgently need blankets, towels, medicine, clothes, food, and water. Donations in cash or in kind are most welcome.

If we all work together to help our brothers and sisters from the South, we can still give them a merry Christmas/holiday. Let us show them how much we love and care for our countrymen.

Thank you very much and have a very blessed and safe Christmas/holiday!

- the AAIS family

P.S. Please spread the word.

Hi AAISians (a.k.a. PHILCOsians)! Do not mistake AAIS for "Asian International School" or "Al-Khobar Asian International School". We don't use those names anymore. Those are now Saudi and Indian schools. Be sure to change and correct your high school to "Al-Andalus International School".

Thanks for adding us up! Keep them coming! :)
