Redman was rescued from a severe neglect situation. He was chained outside with no reliable access to food or water and was dangerously underweight. The before photos show how thin he was and the condition he was living in.

He has since been fully rehabilitated.
Today, Redman is healthy, strong, and properly conditioned. His coat is healthy, his weight is solid, and his overall structure and muscle tone reflect consistent care and nutrition. He is trained in Basic Obedience.

He has primarily been kept outside with proper shelter and care. His presence on the property has been an effective deterrent. Since he’s been here, there have been no issues with anyone attempting to break in. 😁

He comes with:
Two bags of quality dog food (approximately two months’ supply)
Heavy-duty flat collar
His doghouse
Food bowl
Water bowl
Special tie-out cable with spring to avoid sudden stops
Year-long heartworm prevention injection (already administered)
Dog crate, if crating is needed

As we head into December let's take a look back at our November guests.

Nana - a 5 month old Shar Pei/Corgi/Red Heeler Moondog was with us for Board and Train. Her cuteness grabbed the hearts of everyone she met.

Yumyan and Hammerpaw were back to board with is while mom was off island and got to try out the newly donated cat tree and tunnel 😁

Baba and Lisius were also back with us while mom was off island.

Betty - was with us to annoy every dog she met. 🤣 The terrier blood in this moondog is very strong. Non-stop run run run and loves hunting and killing rats 💪🏾

And Anubis. Showing off his "Stoic look". Such a handsome boy.

Hello, Everyone!
We have a few new guests here at Palau Pets Plus and a few veterans.

Meet Star. Star is an Australian shepherd mix Palauan Moon Dog that is boarding with us to learn manners and crate training until she is ready to fly to her new home in the Philippines! She is extremely smart and has one of the best noses (sense of smell) I've seen in a dog in a long time. She's an older girl (8 years old) with arthritis, but still loves to run.

Next, we have Charlie. Charlie is a pit bull mix Palauan Moon Dog and was a stray wandering the streets looking for food. He was extremely emaciated with old injuries (broken jaw, broken legs, possibly a dislocated hip). He had fungus on his skin and open wounds all over. Apparently, he was hit by a car as a puppy and never taken to a vet (or fed regularly). He's around 3-4 years old now and is here to learn manners and crate training also until he is flown out of Palau by his newly adopted mom, who is taking great care of him and making sure he has food everyday and the medicine he needs to heal! 💪🏼

Now onto our veterans. Baba and Lisius were among our first clients and always stay with us when their mother has to go off island. You might remember their feline family additions, Yumyan and Hammerpaw who have also started boarding with us whenever mom is off island. These 4 are always a joy to have here. 🐾
