Hi all!
Here's a short video recap of our time this summer. Highlighted in the video are the trips we took and the closing ceremony at the end of summer 😁
On June 23, 2023, we visited the PCC-CRE Research and Development Office in Ngermeskang, Ngeremlengui. The students learned about food security and how important it is to farm and harvest crops. They even got to learn about tissue culture in the lab!
On the same day, after R&D, we visited CRE-Hatchery in Ngermetengel, Ngeremlengui. Our students learned a lot about algae, and the different fishes they take care of, and even got to feed the turtles.
On July 7, 2023, we visited Kayangel State. Our students learned about plants in Kayangel. After splitting into groups, we went around the island looking for their plant. In the end, they even got to write about and present their plants.
On July 21, 2023, a Closing Ceremony was held in the PCC Cafeteria to commemorate the outstanding students of this year and to close out the summer. Certificates were given out in recognition of students, instructors, and tutors.
We had a very fun and educational summer here at UBMS. We will be updating on the next steps of the program as soon as possible.

We held our first workshop last Friday (April 14, 2023) at PCC Cafeteria and it was a great success 🎉🎉🎉
BIIIIG thank you to Island Leaf for taking time out of their busy schedule to come over and educate our UBMS students about sustainability, green growth, and protecting our "Pristine Paradise Palau". We can't wait to see just how durable these "mengchongch" can be hehe

We had our First New Student Orientation on March 11, 2023 🥳
The turnout was great! Thank you to all students and parents who took the time out of their Saturday to come see us. Many topics were discussed and many questions were answered.
For those who attended, a mass email was sent to parents just to confirm we have the correct email address and also to send the information from the Orientation.
