We regret to inform that due to personal reasons, outside the domain of EPR, David Teixeira will no longer be able to ensure his role of Head-Organiser in EPR5. We thank him for the work provided so far, keeping the hope to cooperate again with him in a nearby future.
However, it is with great excitement that we present you Miguel Silva as the new Head-Organiser of this session, working alongside with the already announced Margarida Alves!
"My main goal for this session is defined by one word: growth. Firstly, and because a session is always made for the delegates, I want to turn this session into an opportunity for the delegates to grow. I want to see them develop their oratory skills, their knowledge and their critical thinking. I want them to learn what it means to stand up to your principles, the importance of compromise and that truth isn't always clear.
I want to help provide an experience to all the officials, and work so that they feel that, by the end of the session, they have grown. My hopes is that, on the 29th of April, they have learned how to deal with deadlines and pressure and little sleep and running on coffee. And that they learn what it means to work for a cause dear to their hearts. Finally, I also want to grow. I want to learn more, I want to get to know more people, to observe different ways of thinking, different perspectives. I want to learn how to say NO, how to speak my mind and not let my decisions be shaped by what others will think and feel. I want to create memories that I know will live on with me forever."
