Natalia '12, Victoria '13, Isabella '18, and future Troubie Josefina '28 are honored by their parents with a Theatre Star!
Theatre Star funds support the arts at St. Francis. These ladies came in to chose their seat for their commemorative star. SFHS Arts St. Francis Catholic High School Sacramento Alumnae
Tina Harris is enjoying her 14th year at St. Francis HS as the director of anything “singing”. A Sacramento native, Mrs. Harris received both her B.A in Voice and her Masters in Choral Conducting from CSU Sacramento. She can’t remember a time in her life when she wasn’t involved in music and can honestly say she has sung in or directed some sort of choir every year of her life since the 3rd grade. For the last 20 years, her main focus has been singing in the Sacramento Master Singers, a very fine community choir directed by Dr. Ralph Hughes. She’s been the soprano section leader and assistant director for many of those years. She also has been integral to her church’s music offerings, having sung in and led the Praise Band for almost 12 years. Her time at St. Francis has been some of the most memorable and impactful music-making years of her career and she looks forward to many, many more.
Be sure to congratulate her when you see her in the halls, and we will share information for the awards banquet on Sunday, March 29th at 1:30pm when we have more details!

More about the show: What is it like to be a girl in America? In this dynamic, original one-act, fifty young women unpack this question through text, movement and multimedia. Using an ethnodrama approach, students conducted individual interviews, wrote poetry and shared their real-life stories to uncover their reactions to the challenges adolescent girls face, and the impact the actions of their peers and adults have in their lives. These artists make meaning of their collective experiences and show us the beauty, resilience and strength it takes to be a girl today.
This is written for ages 14 and older.

Sam has been doing dance since she was in preschool. This is her second year on Apprentice Dance Company and this year she is one of the co-captains. Her favorite style of dance is contemporary, but she always loves exploring new styles.
