📣 The panel discussion is part of the meeting of the COST Action RELINK² scientific network, hosted by the Institute of Political Science at the University of Wrocław. On April 2 and 3, we will host meeting of over 60 researchers and invited guests from 29 countries, who will address the issues of digital skills in democracy and the digitization of political organizations.

🌍 The University of Wrocław is implementing COST grant in 2024-2028. Action Chair in case of COST RELINK² Action is prof. Michał Jacuński from the Institute of Political Science. The network of ‘Regaining linkage? Digital technologies improving civic engagement, political organisations and democracy (RELINK²)’ currently brings together around 200 people from 42 countries who work in four working groups.

🎓 COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) is a funding agency for research and innovation networks. The Actions help connect research initiatives across Europe and enable scientists to grow their ideas by sharing them with their peers.

Meanwhile, a meeting of the MITRA consortium is taking place in Wrocław.🤝
The MITRA programme is a bilingual master's initiative aimed at educating students from different countries, supported financially by the European Union. The programme involves student exchange and participation in master's programmes of the consortium's partner universities.
In Wrocław, MITRA students participate in master's studies in Intercultural Mediation at the Institute of Sociology.
This is also where the evaluation is summarised and the assumptions of the application for new funding are presented.

Shirak Safaryan - a PhD student in the Department of Civil Society preparing his dissertation under the supervision of Prof. Przemysław Żukiewicz - will soon join a renowned research group at Ghent University in Belgium!
Shirak Safaryan has been invited as a visiting researcher to the Ghent Institute for International and European Studies (GIES).
The research trip will be made possible thanks to the PhD student's success in the prestigious ‘Young Researcher’ Grant Competition organised by the University of Wroclaw within the IDUB programme. The grant that Shirak Safaryan has won will enable him to pursue further scientific development in the field of political science and European studies.
We congratulate him on his success and wish him a productive and inspiring stay!

👉We invite you to apply for the post-doctoral researcher position in the project "The domestic politics of EU actions against democratic backsliding (DEUDEM)" led by UWr Professor Aleksandra Maatsch. The project, funded by the National Science Centre (NCN), is part of a joint Weave project with partners from Germany (Bremen) and Austria (Salzburg).
