Annual one week intensive workshop of Film School Łódź / FAMU / ADU / VŠMU and RITCS

REGISTRATIONS ARE NOW OPEN FOR GEECT CONFERENCE - LODZ FILM SCHOOL, POLAND: 18TH – 19TH NOVEMBER 2021
The conference will focus on film editing education. We would like to consider what kind of information must be provided during the educational process. We would also like to consider how to adapt teaching methods to the constantly changing editors’ work environment and new technologies. We will look closer to it and compare different approaches to this problem which both sides have to solve: what kind of information we must provide to explain the complexity of film editing to a novice.

Lectors are major european editors who are at the very heart of creation of the important pieces of european and world contemporary cinema.
Programme of the workshop consists of practical editing exercises, screenings and analytical discussion of the student films presented by each university and detailed analyses of feature films of the guest editors lead by them.
