The participants of PTCC Batch 55 at ERDC are organizing an open webinar titled "How to Work on Your Psychological Health" for parents, teachers, youth & interested individuals. This online event will feature skits, a talk by Salman Asif Siddiqui, and a Q/A session.

The program will take place on Saturday, October 22, 2022, from 3pm to 6pm (PKT)

Please do not push kids into handwriting before they are developmentally ready! Spend time building those fine motor skills. It's so important. These skills include:

1. Wrist stabilization
2. Open and stable web space
3. Developing the arches of the hands
4. Separating the two sides of the hands
5. Developing in hand manipulation skills such as translation and rotation

A well known OT, Mary Benbow, who has done a TON of research on kids fine motor and handwriting skills stresses the importance of developing these skills for our young kids.

Children, especially preschoolers will benefit from spending portions of their day participating in fine motor activities that strengthen and develop their grasping and skills needed to get them ready to engage in handwriting.

Playing with play dough and blocks is JUST as beneficial than tracing letters for preschool children.

AS SIMPLE AS THAT!

Working on your bond with your children will take you the farthest together. Only homeschooling will give you the opportunity to do so and also it may look slower but it will be quickest as well, in the long run.

FORGET ABOUT GRADES TO BECOME GREAT!

Yes please, because comparison kills more than failure does. We often fail to realise what damage we do to our kids psychologically, when we compare our kids to anyone, or any standard, or even to their own past/future.

We are all unique and that is what makes us beautiful. Experiences are what we should really focus on, rather than how good or bad we are at them in comparison of any kind or with anyone.

WOW! This event was no less than a Sixer on the very first ball of the Match. 🤩

Masha Allah it was full of colours, emotions, activities, artistry, expression, hard work and enthusiasm by our extraordinarily talented kids.

It began with some strong deliveries of speeches by our little public speakers where they expressed how we really went on with “Dushman ke daant khattay kerna” on 6th Sept 1965.

Followed by our little artists putting up a show on how they depict our “Ideal Pakistan” and how can we go about “Saving My Pakistan”.

We at Cre8ive Homeschoolers thank all the participants and their brave and encouraging parents to take this path of extraordinary educational activities and supporting us with so much love on our very first event.

Xaheen Kids Club it would not have been possible without your 💯 % cooperation and support. We look forward to organising more events like these with you. You guys are doing a wonderful job.

We would also like to thank all the Volunteers - you guys did it! Storytelling was full of engagement and the Quiz took it to another level altogether.

Last but not the least, I would thank the blessed “Mother of a Shaheed - Lieutenant Shaheer” and our “Chief Guest - Nighat Fatima” who both honoured us by attending 🇵🇰 SALAM PAKISTAN 🇵🇰 and we all learned so much from them.
