Soil & Water Testing Laboratory MFSC Mardan

14th February 2023: Dr Farida Anjum (Director DSPN, ARI Tarnab) along with Dr. Ijaz Akhtar and Dr. Muhammad Rashid visited Soil Testing Laboratory of MFSC Mardan. Amina Habib (Research officer) briefed them about the different activities of Laboratory and Soil mapping project. Director DSPN appreciated the efforts of officer and officials of Lab and ensure them her full support regarding Research activities of Laboratory .

Director Model Farm Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mr. Hafiz Farhad visited the Soil Testing Laboratory of MFSC Mardan and inspected various activities of the laboratory under the project "Soil Fertility Mapping of KPK". He appreciated the laboratory work very much.

Director General Agriculture Extension, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mr. Jan Muhammad along with Director Plant Protection visited Soil Testing Laboratory of MFSC Mardan & inspected different activities of the Laboratory under the Project of "Soil Fertility Mapping of KPK". A briefing about all activities was given by Amina Habib (Research officer).

Today dated 16 November 2022 Director Model Farm KP and District Director Agriculture Extension Mardan visited MFSC Lab Mardan. He discussed the issues of the LAB and appreciated the various activities going on in the Soil Testing Laboratory Mardan.

26/10/2022: Amir Muhammad Khan Campus Agriculture University students visited the MFSC Mardan where's they were briefed by Amina Habib (RO) about the activities going on at MFSC Mardan. Different techniques of soil and water analysis were also demonstrated to the students by laboratory staff.

Today dated 29/09/2022: Mega Gathering was organized under PSDP project supervision of Extension Department, in which Senior Research Officer Muhammad Ismail informed the Farmers about increasing the productivity of sugarcane and new varieties. Research Officer Amina Habib informed the Farmers about soil analysis.

Alhamdulillah today we have completed 120 analysis out of 1 thousand samples under Soil Project Fertility Mapping kp.

Today dated 2nd September 2022 MFSC Soil Lab Mardan started analysis of soil samples of project Soil Fertility Mapping of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Muhammad Ismail Senior Research Officer Sugar Crops Research Institute Mardan started the work with dua. Moreover AO Mutahhir Shah, Field Assistant Noor Bacha, Liaqat Ali Lab/A and other staff were present on the occasion

Under the supervision of Director Sugar Crops Research Institute, Mardan, Dr. Syed Asghar Ali, an important meeting was held with the relevant staff regarding the capacity building of the "Soil Analytical Laboratory" established at the Model Farm Services Center, Mardan, in which suggestions were made for the improvement of the laboratory, and orders were issued.

Director General Agriculture Extension and Director Model farm KP visited Mfsc Lab Mardan. He checked the records of the lab and appreciated the various activities going on in the Soil Testing Laboratory Mardan.

Students of Agriculture Services Academy headed by Principal Mr. Muhammad Khan visited Model Farm Services Center Mardan. This trip was organised by ASA which are usually responsible to bring together students and help them learn about different activities occur in Model Farm. Students also visit the Soil Testing Laboratory Mardan.
