The second session of the Reading Roundtables at the Maryam Faruqi Research Centre focused on "Action Research in Education: A Strategy for Professional Growth and Change." Participants from schools such as Beaconlight Grammar School, Generations School, The Orchid School, Khadija Kazi Memorial School, and others engaged in vibrant discussions, exploring the efficacy of action research as a potent tool for fostering reflection, nurturing professional development, and catalyzing transformation in education.

Throughout the session, attendees examined the evolution, diverse models, and consequential impact of action research, exemplified through comprehensive case studies. Dr. Syed Saif Ur Rehman, an esteemed alumnus of HHS Society Campus from the Batch of 1980, has recently been honoured with the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz on March 23, 2024. Dr. Saif is an accomplished civil servant with a distinguished career spanning various prestigious institutions and roles. He holds a Ph.D., MPA from Columbia University, USA, and MSc. in Health Policy & Management from The Aga Khan University, among other notable qualifications.

Throughout his career, Dr. Saif has made remarkable contributions to public service, particularly in the fields of health policy and management. He has played a pivotal role in initiatives such as polio eradication, demonstrating exceptional leadership and dedication. His efforts have significantly impacted the well-being of the general public, especially children, in challenging environments such as Balochistan.

Dr. Saif's transformative projects include the revitalization of Empress Market in Karachi and the development of Kidney Hill into a lush green oasis, showcasing his commitment to environmental sustainability. He is widely regarded as a rare breed of civil servant, consistently delivering outstanding results with limited financial resources.

We are thrilled to announce our partnership with GenMo , marking a significant milestone in our commitment to providing holistic education to our students. Financial literacy is a crucial life skill, and we are proud to be the first school in the country to offer structured financial education to our students.

Together with GenMo, we aim to empower thousands of HHS students with the knowledge and skills they need to make informed financial decisions and lead financially healthy lives.

Intercampus Scrabble Competition was organised at HHS Society Campus with the esteemed presence of Mr. Tariq Pervez, Chairman of the World Youth Committee, as the Chief Guest.
