The first problem is the integration of the three disciplines of Math such as calculus for dimension optimization using the formula for the area of rectangle, coordinate geometry because the ellipse and the rectangle referred to here must be plotted on the cartesian plane to be able to assign values for length and width where the length, width and Area are geometrical concepts.

As a Math teacher, because of the types of word problems taught here in this seminar-workshop, I still experienced headache while solving Math hahaha!

The math word problems were out of this world but our lecturer was amazing in the way he showed the solutions and my fellow Maths teachers were really good.

Salute to Dr. Gaquing

If you are a computer student or computer scientist then you must be familiar with De Morgan's laws. The man who invented these laws, is our "scientist of the day" today.

It's death anniversary of , the man who formulated De Morgan's laws and introduced the term mathematical induction - -

(Scientist of the Day - 18 March)

- Morgan was born in Madurai, Madras, India.
- He did important work in abstract symbolic logic, the theory of relations, and formulated De Morgan's laws.
- When he defined and introduced the term “mathematical induction” (1838), he gave the process ....

Today is the which is celebrated on December 22 across the nation every year. The National Mathematics Day is marked to recognise and celebrate the works of Srinivasa Ramanujan. Srinivasa Ramanujan, the Indian mathematical genius, was born on this day in 1887.

Srinivasa Ramanujan was born on 22nd December 1887 in Erode district of Tamil Nadu.

The book "A Synopsis of Elementary Results in Pure and Applied Mathematics" marked a turning point in his life. It was this book that aroused his interest in mathematics. At the age of 12, he borrowed Loney's Trigonometry textbook from a neighbor's student in college. He not only finished the book in one reading but also put all the accounts in it by himself.

All he had in mind and hand were Magic Squares, Continued Fractions, Prime and Composite Numbers, Number Partitions, Elliptic Integrals, hypergeometry And high-quality math. In Ramanujan's studies, Theory of Equations, Theory of Numbers, Definite Integrals, Theory of Partitions, Elliptical Functions and Continuous Fractions are considered to be the best.

His discoveries in more than 3,000 new mathematical theorems between 1914 and 1918 are still used today at the top of many disciplines, from the field of physics to the field of telecommunications engineering.

Our science is much interested in understanding how things change, and the and the sit at the heart of how mathematicians and scientists understand change. Today we introduce you about a German man who invented calculus and developed the present day notation for the differential and integral calculus. His contributions to the development of calculus have also had a major impact on physics. That great German man is our "scientist of the day" today.

It's death anniversary of , the last universal genius --

(Scientist of the Day - 14 November)

Through meeting with such scholars as in Paris and with members of the Royal Society, including , during two trips to London in 1673 and 1676, Leibniz was introduced to the outstanding problems challenging the mathematicians and physicists of Europe.

As a mathematician, his greatest achievement was the development of the main ideas of and calculus, independently of 's contemporaneous developments. Mathematical works have consistently favored Leibniz's notation as the conventional expression of calculus.

In physics, Leibniz contributed a fair amount to the .....
