There's no holding back for more than 700 learners of Ayungon Central School from attending the first day of SY 2023-2024. Despite the inclement weather, the first Flag Raising Ceremony and opening program was conducted successfully to welcome the learners to a new school year.

It's a wrap! The Literacy Enhancement and Numeracy Development (LEND-C) of Ayungon Central School finally culminated with the learners receiving their certificates of completion as recognition for their efforts in participating in the camp. Special thanks to the parents, Teacher-facilitators, support staff, PTA Officials headed by Mr. Rowel Ferreron and Barangay Poblacion led by Hon. Rezil Mahinay for the continued support to the program.

GREAT NEWS | DepEd Ayungon, this year's Festival of Talents Champion
Defending champion DepEd Ayungon has secured the title after winning First Place again in the recently concluded Division of Negros Oriental Festival of Talents Rural Folkdance Contest.
Held at Negros Oriental High School on Wednesday, 25 May 2023, the said Festival of Talents was participated by hundreds of teachers and students from across school districts in the province.
Choreographed by Teacher Jhay-r Megarbio, the winning team from Ayungon under Coach Rara Argoncillo-Deimos will represent the entire Department of Education Negros Oriental Division at the Regional Level to be held next month in Mandaue City, Cebu.
Congratulations! We are very proud of you!

Ayungon Central School welcomes more than 700 learners for the opening of In-person classes for SY 2022-2023
Ayungon Central School is the host school for this year's 1st Congressional District School Press Conference.
Ayungon District 2 readies for 2022 campus journalism frays.
Preparations are underway at the Ayungon 2 District Office and at Ayungon Central School for the First Congressional Schools Press Conference on April 19, 2022.
Led by its supervisor, Madamme Hazel E. Argoncillo, school heads, district subject specialists in English and in Filipino, and some teachers of different elementary and secondary schools and of various committees are working hard for the contest venues and for the program.
Twelve districts of the towns of La Libertad, Jimalalud, Tayasan, Ayungon, Bindoy, and Manjuyod are expected to join in the event.
Different competitions are News Writing, Editorial Writing, Editorial Column Writing, Editorial Cartooning, Science and Discovery Writing, Sports Writing, Feature Writing, Copyreading and Headline Writing, and Public Service Announcement.
Education Public Supervisor Dr. Anna Lee A. Amores, EdD and DepEd Division of Negros Oriental Superintendent Mr. Senen Priscillo P. Paulin, CESO V are in the opening program.
The Division of Negros Oriental has committees for the conduct of the press conference.
This year's theme is "Empowering Resilient Communities through Campus Journalism."

Teachers and staff of Ayungon Central School warmly welcome around 190 learners from Kindergarten to Grade 6 and SPED with a short program for the launching of the Limited Face to Face Classes last March 28, 2022. The program was attended by Education Program Supervisor Allan Tabio, Brgy Captain Resil Mahinay and Federated PTA President Rowel Ferreron.
The school was also visited by Education Program Supervisor Analee Amores, Education Program Specialist Joy Tanio from the the Schools Division of Negros Oriental, and District Supervisor Hazel E. Argoncillo to assess the state of the school, teachers and learners participating in the limited face to face classes.
