Venerable Ignacia del Espiritu Santo, known for her acts of pity and religious poverty, founded the congregation of Sisters of the Religious of the Virgin Mary (R.V.M), the first native Filipino female congregation with pontifical status and was declared Venerable by Pope Benedict XVI on July 6, 2007.

“Behold, the virgin shall be with child and bear a son, and they shall name him Emmanuel.”
Matthew 1:23
Today, we celebrate our Blessed Mother because she was brought into this world by God and that by itself merits celebrating.
We honor her since we thankfully recollect Mama Mary's wonderful role and love for God and our reclamation!
In light of her dutifulness and acknowledgment of God's will, she enthusiastically consented to turn into the Mother of Jesus Christ.
Thank you Mama Mary, and Happy Birthday!
Let us pray...
Hail, Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.
