TYPHOON 'FABIAN SLOWS DOWN WHILE ENHANCNG HABAGAT ⚠️

Muling bumagal ang pagkilos ng Typhoon ( ) habang pinapaigting ang southwest monsoon (habagat). Tumataas ang posibilidad na ang maulang panahon sa kanlurang bahagi ng Luzon ay tumagal pa hanggang sa susunod na linggo. Mag-ingat po sa posibleng pagbaha o pagguho ng lupa!

INAASAHANG MAKARARANAS NG MONSOON RAINS SA SUSUNOD NA 24 ORAS:

Ilocos Region, Abra, Benguet, Zambales, Bataan, Tarlac, Pampanga, Bulacan, Metro Manila, Cavite, Batangas, southern Quezon, Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, at hilagang bahagi ng Palawan kasama ang Calamian aT Kalayaan Islands.

• Maulap na papawirin na may pulu-pulong pag-uulan at thunderstorms: Nalalabing bahagi ng Luzon at Western Visayas

KASALUKUYANG IMPORMASYON SA BAGYO:

• Lokasyon: 525 km hilagang silangan ng Itbayat, Batanes
• Lakas ng hangin malapit sa gitna: 150 km/h
• Pagbugso: 185 km/h
• Pagkilos: Mabagal na pa-kanluran timog kanluran

MGA DAPAT NA MALAMAN:

1. Nasaan na ba ang bagyo?

• Ang sentro ng bagyong ay palapit na sa Miyako Islands (southern Japan). Ang sentro nito ay malayo pa rin sa anumang bahagi ng bansa, ngunit tuluy-tuloy ang pagpapaigting nito ng habagat.

2. Ano ang direktang epekto ng bagyo?

• Dahil sa bahagyang pagbaba ng track ng bagyo at laki ng sirkulasyon nito (640 km mula sa sentro), inaasahang bahagyang makakaapekto sa Extreme Northern Luzon ang outer rainbands nito simula ngayong araw. Dahil dito, nakataas na ang Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1 sa Batanes at Babuyan Islands.

• Hindi pa rin inaasahang direktang dadaan ang sentro nito sa anumang bahagi ng bansa.

3. Kailan ito lalabas ng PAR?

• Dahil sa pagbagal nito, maaaring sa Sabado pa posibleng lumabas ng PAR ang bagyo, habang dumadaan malapit sa kapuluan ng Ryuku (southern Japan). Ngunit, kahit na palabas na ito, posibleng tuluy-tuloy pa rin ang paghatak nito ng habagat.

4. Ano ang aasahan sa habagat?

• Ang habagat na pinapaigting nito ay patuloy na nakakaapekto sa buong Luzon at Western Visayas ngayong araw. Ngunit, mas madalas at malalakas ang pag-uulan sa kanlurang bahagi ng Luzon.

• Bukod sa mga pag-uulan, ang "enhanced" habagat ay inaasahang magdudulot rin ng mahina hanggang sa minsang malalakas na pagbugso ng hangin (galing sa timog kanluran), lalo na sa mga baybayin at mabundok na lugar.

5. Kailan ba muling aaraw?

• Dahil sa muling pagbagal ng kilos nito, posibleng umabot pa sa unang bahagi ng susunod na linggo ang maulang panahon na dulot ng "monsoon rains" sa kanlurang bahagi ng Luzon.

• Hindi pa tiyak kung kailan muling magiging maaraw sa Metro Manila at mga karatig lugar.

⚠️Manatiling nakatutok sa mga updates, lalo pa at may banta pa rin ng pag-uulan dulot ng "enhanced" habagat sa mga susunod na araw. Ngayon pa lamang ay alamin na ang mga dapat gawin at maghanda na. Ingat, Shakers!
