On July 7 (Sunday), the PLM ACES held its 𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲 via MS Teams, marking the transition from the 2023-2024 administration to the 2024-2025 leadership. The virtual event was a testament to the resilience and adaptability of the organization, ensuring that tradition and continuity are upheld even in challenging times.

James Gurion, the outgoing president, delivered a heartfelt speech reflecting on the achievements of the past year. He expressed 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑-𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦, emphasizing the importance of and setting standards for future leaders. His words were a reminder of the enduring values and commitment that define PLM ACES. 🩷

The new president, along with the new officers, were officially introduced. The ceremony concluded with a collective commitment to uphold the excellence within the community.

The support and cheers of civil engineering freshies, sophomores, juniors, and seniors echoed from the PLM Gymnasium last May 11 as the 𝐩𝐚𝐂𝐄𝐤𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒: 𝐌𝐞𝐧'𝐬 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐄𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐑𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 came to an end. ⛹️

All of the teams showcased outstanding skills and perseverance, finishing every game with intensity and excitement. From 𝑰𝒄𝒆 𝒊𝒏 𝑴𝒚 𝑽𝒆𝒊𝒏 🥶 threes to defensive 𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒑 plays, only two teams secured their spot in the final round.

Recently, the upcoming 4th-year students and civil engineering faculty members were engaged in a stimulating 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝗾𝘂𝗶𝘂𝗺 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 (𝗔𝗖𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗦) 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗢𝗝𝗧 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, headed by Engr. Patrick Louie Jay Federizo, CE Coordinator.

The session delved into the array of specializations offered at PLM, with a particular emphasis on construction management and structural engineering. Moreover, alongside exploring academic pathways, the orientation offered invaluable guidance concerning the upcoming OJT set to commence on July 1st.

The meeting equipped our future CEs with a 𝘤𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘳 𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘢𝘤𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘮𝘪𝘤 𝘱𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘶𝘪𝘵𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘧𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘢𝘴𝘱𝘪𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴.
