Greetings in St. La Salle!
To strengthen the role of the parents and guardians in caring for children and supporting their development and learning, we are launching our Gabay-Pagsasanay: Parent-Teacher Effectiveness Program. This program aims to reinforce Republic Act 11908 known as the Parent Effectiveness Service Program Act and House Bill 5243 that established the Nanay-Teacher Parenting Program Act.

For our first activity in the implementation of this program, we are inviting all our parent-teachers to attend this event which will happen on Monday, July 29 from 8:00am to 12:00 noon at A1408 of Andrew Building in DLSU. The list of parents/guardians who will serve as parent-teachers of St. La Salle Preschool were already endorsed to the different units that we are coordinating with for this event.

Please join us and meet our Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (BECED) and Master of Arts in Early Childhood Education (MAECED) students, the College Government of Education (CGE) and the Parents of University Students Organization (PUSO) who are supporting the St. La Salle Preschool. Registration will start at 7:45am.

We are requiring all SLSP Parents of the accepted students to come to the preschool this week to participate in our Brigada Eskwela. Other adult members of the family are also welcome to join us. This activity will be done July 23 (Tuesday) and July 24 (Wednesday) from 9am to 3pm. Please help the SLSP teachers prepare the preschool for the opening of classes for SY 2024-2025. Bring any of the following materials for the clean-up activity: indoor & outdoor broom, dust pan, trash bags, rags, basin or pail, & detergent. Thank you very much!

We are inviting all SLSP Parents of the SY 2024-2025 accepted students to come to the preschool office this week for our family profiling activity. This is not only required to update our school records on your family medical history but also to provide information to DLSU College of Science and DLSU PUSO who will organize a medical-dental mission for the families of SLSP. You may see T. CJ & T. Divine this July 16 to 18 from 9-12nn and 1-3pm to accomplish our family medical profile form. Please take note of this announcement. Thank you very much!

For the parents of the old students who attended the transitional program, please refer to the schedule given below for your interview this Wednesday. Bring a copy of the health record of your child. The interview process is essential to determine if you are amenable to the commitment required in our Parent-Teacher Program for continuation of your child in our full Prekindergarten program.

Here is the list of new students who will be screened for POSSIBLE acceptance in the Prekindergarten program. Please refer to the day and time that the parent and child are asked to come to St. La Salle Preschool for the scheduled interview. Kindly know that NOT ALL who were interviewed will be accepted. The interview process will be conducted to further get information about the child who will be offered our Prekindergarten Program and his/her parent who will participate in our Parent-Teacher Program.

The old students from the transitional program will be interviewed on Wednesday. The slot is NOT GUARANTEED if the parent cannot commit to our Parent-Teacher Program.

Application of new students to add to our prekindergarten program and to resume our nursery program will be this week from July 1 to 5. Please download and print the endorsement form from the link provided in the comment so you can seek recommendation from your barangay and COSCA.

The interview with the parent and child applicant will be conducted as part of the screening process. Only those eligible and with complete requirements submitted will be considered for the interview. The interview will be used to get additional information about the child and to explain the necessary commitment of his/her parent to our Parent-Teacher Program complementing our Nursery and Prekindergarten Programs.

The SLSP teachers will be in the preschool this week from 9-12nn and 1-3pm to accept your documents and answer any questions you may have about our programs. Thank you very much! Animo 💚

Hindi lang nagtatapos doon! Ito rin ang araw ng ating Culminating Ceremony 🎓 kung saan kami ay may inihandang maikling programa para maipakita sa inyong mga magulang ang inyong mga ginawa sa mga sessions natin.

Dear SLSP Parents,

The Parents of University Students Organization (PUSO) of DLSU will hold a medical mission on February 25, 2024, Sunday from 7:00 am to 3:00pm at the Henry Sy Sr. Hall Grounds inside the campus. Their president is extending the invitation to SLSP families.

Please avail of the services that they will offer for adults (dental for oral prophylaxis and medical check-up including internal medicine, ophthalmology & obstetrics-gynecology consultations) and children (dental for oral prophylaxis and pediatric consultations).

We need to send them a list that will provide the following information: name of family member, age of family member, specific service to be availed by the family member. There would be a big number of recipients who will go to this event hence kindly indicate the priority service that you would like each member of your family to receive.

Only those family members indicated in the list will be allowed entry to the campus during the event. Please bring a government-issued ID (for all adults attending) to be presented at the gate as proof of your identity.

Please anticipate that you will be held responsible for the child/children you will bring inside DLSU for consultation. Bring water, biscuits, hand-held fan and change of clothes so your child/children will be comfortable while waiting in line.

SLSP Parents Orientation with COSCA LOVE

To all parents of selected children in our Prekindergarten Program this academic year, join us in our orientation tomorrow, January 25, 2024 from 9:00 to 11:00 in the morning at the COSCA-ALS compound.

Your attendance is required so we can explain our programs and policies. Importantly, we will finalize the schedule of your participation in our Nanay Teacher Program as part of our operation as an outreach preschool.

Applicants with complete requirements will be notified this morning. Those we might consider accepting but still lack the requirements will only be given until 12:00 noon today to complete them.

Please know, starting this academic year, that crucial in the acceptance of children in our preschool programs is the active participation and commitment of their parents in our Nanay Teacher Program. We will discuss this program next week during our parent orientation.

The St. La Salle Preschool is back!

Because we are partially resuming our operation while preparing for our full resumption, we will be offering the Prekindergarten program first this academic year for limited slots only. Hence, we will select applicants based on the project's goals and requirements.

You may inquire about our requirements from T. CJ and T. Divine. The application and endorsement forms will be available in the preschool. The SLSP Teachers will accept applications on January 18 & 19, 2024.
