Last July 24, 2024, the University Student Government, in partnership with Accredited Clubs and School Organizations, PUSO Party Manila, Appreciate, and Center for Filipino Youth Volunteers has launched CARE-NA TUPIAN: A DONATION DRIVE FOR TUPIANS AFFECTED BY TYPHOON CARINA with the objectives of providing relief assistance for the recovery of affected communities.
While we have reached out to the TUP community with the distribution of the accumulated relief goods, we also reached out to affected communities in Metro Manila. We have distributed relief assistance to a community from Baseco, Port Area Tondo, Manila with the coordination of its Barangay SK and Youth for Better Baseco.
We would like to express our gratitude to our partner organizations, individual donors, and volunteers who has extended their help to making this donation drive possible. May we continue these kinds of initiatives to helping our communities in times of calamity, with our generous hearts and dedicated service.

ANNOUNCEMENT: OSA Releases ID Validation Guidelines for 2nd to 5th Year Students

The Office of Student Affairs (OSA) has announced the guidelines for ID validation for 2nd to 5th year students. To comply with the validation process, students must present their current registration to the OSA and follow the prescribed hair color and haircut outlined in the TUP 2013 Student Handbook.

By Article V, Section 4, No. 4 and 5 of the student handbook, male students should maintain a clean and decent haircut regardless of their NSTP enrollment status, while all students are not allowed to have their hair dyed.

Further, TUP University Student Government (USG) assured that they will immediately post updates regarding the ease of the hair and dress code policy once approved by the administration.

The University Clinic released an advisory to all student who underwent the Free Mandatory Chest Xray:
1. For incoming OJTs/SITs student, kindly submit a hard copy of your xray and drug test results to the medical clinic to secure your medical certificate.
2. For incoming second year to nth year students who will be enrolling for the next academic year, print a copy of the chest xray result sent to your emails (𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘭𝘺 𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘤𝘬 𝘪𝘵 𝘰𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘴𝘱𝘢𝘮 𝘢𝘴 𝘸𝘦𝘭𝘭) by the PhilHealth service provider and submit to the medical clinic after enrollment during your scheduled enrollment period.

𝓐𝓭𝓭𝓲𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷𝓪𝓵 𝓡𝓮𝓶𝓲𝓷𝓭𝓮𝓻:
Kindly wait for further announcement about the next schedule of the Free Mandatory Chest Xray before enrollment for those who haven’t done yet.

A Medical Check-up Van is coming to TUP Open Grounds! May 13 (Monday) onwards, 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Pick a date that works for you, pero best to go on the recommended days. Don't wait until the last minute.
