Today is National Heroes' Day, August 26, 2024. A day to remember and honor the heroes of the past who have stood tall for our nation who bravely use their intelligence and firmness to sacrificed their lives in order to establish what is right.

The National University-Manila School-Based NSRC Unit joined the ComEx Student Volunteer Groups' Year End Activity held on June 28, 2024 at the 12th Floor, Annex 1 Building along with the two fellow volunteering organizations the Community Extension Brigade and the NU Mountaineers .

This activity held multiple icebreakers to showcase unity from the said organizations through fun and exciting collaborations.

An important part of the activity was to also present the accomplishment report held by each of the three organizations last A.Y 2023-2024. The NUM-SBNU's commitment to volunteerism was emphasized as it showed constant organizational works throughout the year— which will be proudly shown constantly through the following year by the newly elected officers of the organization that was also introduced individually during the program.

This event was successful and was ended with a great remark! The dedication of each organizations was truly remarkable, continuing it's missions and visions for the next term.

The National University Manila School-Based NSRC Unit successfully held a General Assembly on June 5, 2024, with the theme “Empowering Service, Building Resilience: NUM-SBNU's Commitment to Community and Nation.” This assembly showcased the power and unity of dedicated members committed to our mission of service. It reminded us that our resilience has a lasting positive impact on achieving our common goals. As we move forward, we do so with a motivated mind and a strong spirit of volunteerism.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of this event. Your dedication and hard work demonstrate that we can achieve more than we ever imagined. We are empowered to serve and build resilience, reinforcing our mission.

Holiday Announcement:

June 12, Wednesday, marks a national holiday in honor of the 126th Philippine Independence Day, as proclaimed in Proclamation 368.
June 17, Monday, has been designated a nationwide holiday to commemorate Eid’l Adha, or the Feast of Sacrifice.

Therefore, there will be no classes or office transactions at NU Manila on these dates. Please be guided accordingly.
