📣Announcement: Postponement of the College of International Relations General Assembly

In compliance with the suspension of classes declared by the City of Manila due to inclement weather conditions and the orange rainfall warning issued by the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), the College of International Relations General Assembly scheduled for today, August 28, 2024, is hereby postponed.

The safety and security of everyone is our top priority, and we are adhering to the city’s directive to suspend all educational activities today.

The new date for the General Assembly will be announced as soon as possible once conditions improve and classes can safely resume. Please stay tuned to our social media page (College of International Relations Student Government) for updates on the rescheduled date and time.

The LPU PAIR, led by Executive Director Chelsea Minelli A. Eseller and Director for HPAIR and External Relations Ruzelle E. Vittali, extended warm congratulations to Dean Gladys O. Ramos of the LPU Manila - Student Affairs Office during a courtesy visit on August 14, 2024. Dean Ramos is part of Team Philippines and is representing the country and LPU as a delegate at the 2024 HPAIR Asia Conference in Bangkok, Thailand from August 21-25. Today is the third day of the Conference.

As a partner organization of the Harvard College Project for Asian and International Relations (HPAIR), the LPU PAIR aims to empower CIR students with the skills needed to excel in future HPAIR conferences. We believe Dean Ramos’ participation will inspire our Pioneers for Change to join the global conversation, broaden their horizons, and showcase Filipino pride. Additionally, we have discussed our plans for this semester and we are happy to have Dean’s support as we work towards empowering students to be more research-oriented and to become global leaders.
