Kastifun literally means “gathering.” The song calls for the Blaan to set aside their differences and work together, for they are of the same blood.
The Grade 3 pupils of Ma'am Maryconn Deguiñon had performed the dance in order to remind us to work together for good regardless of tribe, culture and tradition
The Grade III pupils of Ma'am Cony Rose M. Bagayas, skillfully performed a Tribal Dance which mirrors the culture, tradition and way of life of our Indigenous People.

April 27, 2024 a coastal clean-up drive activity was done at Sitio Kibatang, Barangay Sugal, Jose Abad Santos, Davao Occidental, initiated by Manuel Medel Sr. Elementary School headed by Ma'am Lael Faith Fontanares, Head Teacher I together with the faculty members, and staff.

Our mission is to actively support preserving and safeguarding our world. It was started with the idea that together, we may have a significant environmental impact.

In addition, we are grateful to the Brgy. Sugal officials, the Brgy 4Ps members, and the supportive PTA officials from MMSES for their active participations.You guys are incredible!

Today, the Salaam Police Advocacy Group (SPAG) conducted Brigada Eskwela at Manuel Medel Sr. Elementary School. The Salaam Police Advocacy Group (SPAG) serves as a peace advocacy group that has a direct line to the community leaders.
The Manuel Medel Sr. Elementary School teaching and non-teaching staff are very much grateful for their contribution in making our school clean and safe for our learners.
Indeed, teamwork makes the dream work!
