Implementation of Catch Up Fridays (Drop Everything and Read- DEAR)

Attention to all learners, educators and stakeholders of Mabacan Elementary School! Exciting news awaits you for the month of January. As stipulated in the DepEd Memo 001 s. 2024, we will be implementing the Catch Up Friday program on three Fridays of the month.

Starting January 12, 2024, every Friday will be dedicated to the Catch Up Friday initiative, where the sole focus will be on teaching children to read. Learners from Kindergarten to Grade 6 will spend the day engaging in age-appropriate reading materials based on their interests.

Likewise, they will be encouraged to write essays, book reviews, and other similar outputs to enhance their reading comprehension and critical thinking skills.

The program also highlights the importance of reading in learners' lives and its impact on their academic performance. It is an initiative to bridge the gap in literacy rates and improve reading comprehension among students. With this program, Mabacan ES aims to empower learners to become avid readers and lifelong learners.

Mark your calendars. The Catch Up Friday program will take place on three Fridays of the month of January. Get ready to immerse yourselves in the world of books and let your imagination soar!

Para sa ating pormal na pagbubukas, magkakaroon ang ating paaralan ng face-to-face kick off at motorcade na gaganapin sa ika-14 ng Agosto, 7:30 nang umaga paikot ng ating barangay. Magsisimula ito sa Mabacan Elementary School

Hulyo 27, 2023 - Mabacan ES Reading Camp, Matagumpay na Nasimulan!

Kaugnay ng National Learning Camp, nagsimula na ang Reading Camp na nilahukan ng 21mag-aaral mula Baitang 1 - 3 sa Mabacan Elementary School. Sa pangunguna ng punongg**o at ng mahuhusay na teacher-volunteer sinig**o ang kahandaan ng paaralan, gayundin ang mga kagamitang gagamitin sa pagtuturo. Ang pabugso-bugsong pag-ulan ay hindi naging hadlang sa pagsasakatuparan ng gawaing ito.

Pasasalamat ang ipinaaabot ng paaralan sa mga magulang at g**o na patuloy na sumusuporta upang maging matagumpay ang nasabing gawain! ♥️
