READ | Official Primer & Statement of FEU IHSN Student Council for the 52nd Martial Law Commemoration

Today marks the 52nd commemoration of Martial Law in 1972—the period of unmitigated tyranny and corruption in our history.

We commemorate this to ensure that the dark time past shall never be forgotten and distorted as the institutions of the state are trying to bury it in oblivion. From the disdain, violence, and oppression imposed by the dictatorial regime, the tears of various nameless victims will be continuously vivid and engraved in everyone. Specifically on the medical setting, with all the maltreatments and inequalities towards the patients—from the nutritional crisis, limited support for the patients, and lack of attention and sense of urgency, the Martial Law left our people in critical condition. Leaving a disease, one that seemed impossible to heal in a national proportions. Let us not forget our people who had to endure the extent of pain under Martial Law, our people who valiantly fought and offered their lives for our democracy.

This commemoration is not only to recall the heinous acts of terror inflicted and atrocities from the Martial Law, but also a call for truth, justice and freedom as we stay vigilant against the new forms of authoritarianism of Philippine democracy today.

FEU IHSN Nursing Shines at the Battle of the Nightingales!

The Far Eastern University Institute of Health Sciences and Nursing (FEU IHSN) is beaming with pride as our senior nursing student delegates recently showcased their exemplary skills and knowledge at the highly anticipated Battle of the Nightingales, organized by Metro Pacific Health.

Among the top-performing institutions, our very own FEU IHSN Nursing students stood out with their exceptional performance and poise. Our delegates, Czarina D. Servando, Dashiel Aundrei Alipio, and Katherine Rose P. Beltran, represented us with utmost pride, proving once again that FEU remains a pillar of academic and professional excellence in healthcare.

This achievement not only brings honor to our university but also highlights the caliber of nursing education at FEU IHSN.

Once again, congratulations to our FEU IHSN Nursing team for their remarkable performance at the Battle of the Nightingales! The IHSN community is incredibly proud of you!

THE CHAMPIONS ARE HERE!

The quizzers from the FEU - Medical Technology bagged the highest award of CHAMPION during the 43rd PAMET-PASMETH Inter-School Quiz Show, held on September 20, 2024 at the Manila Central University, EDSA Caloocan City.

The following winning team consists of the following stellar fellow : Von Harvey Ferranculo, Princess Joana Ramos, Kyian Crista Salvatierra, and Clarence Tendido. Moreover, the team has Dr. Kerfelcel Retoriano, Francisco Gellecanao Jr., Ma'am Ariane Laranang, Ma'am Rocelle Leonardo, and Mr. Andrei Ramos as their coaches.

The FEU IHSN Student Council brims with pride and honor as our quizzers take home the GOLD to complete and live up to the Green & Gold branding of our alma mater. May you continue in elevating the standard of FEU-MedTech excellence!

Last September 6-8, 2024, the Oratorical Debate Council proceeded to the finals of the Philippine Intercollegiate Debating Championship, the largest National Asian Parliamentary Debate Competition in the Philippines. Our 4th year Nursing Tam, 𝐄𝐥𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐩𝐮𝐳, will be heading with ORADEC to the final rounds on September 14-15, 2024 as a representative, bringing pride and honor to our institute.

As ironic as it may seem, the Legal & Legislative Department is cooking up some illegal face cards! With 𝑭𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒌𝒍𝒊𝒏 𝑮𝒖𝒕𝒊𝒆𝒓𝒓𝒆𝒛, the hunty Director, and his halleloo hands-on Associate Directors, 𝑭𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒛 𝑱𝒐𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒏 𝑪𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒃𝒂𝒍 and 𝑹𝒂𝒇𝒂𝒆𝒍 𝑹𝒂𝒔𝒄𝒐, di uupo ang ating parlia-bosses dahil sila'y tatayo bilang shoulder to lean on ng everybody! 🗣️
