The heart you have, once in health facilities, is now transferred to training, skills transfer depict the tru meaning of stewards, looking after what was given by God, and when the time is up, the knowledge Nd skills has to be transfered to the upcoming generations. The AOG CHW Training School Governance has completed the final stage of Head Agreement between National Department of Health as the custodian of the Program.

This agreement signing marks the significant importance of Church and state partnership through health training.

The signing ceremony was conducted at the NDoH Ministry Office of the Honourable Elias Kapavore on the 30th of April 2026.

"MOROBE SAM SEWE RECOMMENDS NEW MOROBE PHYSICAL PLANNING BOARD AND MOROBE LANDS BOARD"

16th March 2026

The Morobe Sam Sewe (Provincial Executive Council) has reviewed some of the Boards that were established by legislation and have made recommendations to the Minister responsible to make the appointments. Governor Rainbo Paita, said that two important boards related to land administration and management are the Morobe Fisikel Plenning Bod and the Morobe Lens Bod that are established under the Physical Planning Act and Lands Act. There had been issues in the past where the Boards appointed in 2019 lapsed in 2023 and the Morobe Provincial Government failed to communicate the new nominations to the Minister responsible.

The Morobe PEC has made its nominations in accordance with the two legislations that comprises names of ex officio and industry and community representations as required by these legislations.

Hon. Rainbo Paita, Chairman of the PEC and Governor is concerned that the Morobe Province has been affected by the absence of these two Boards that are important for the land and planning physical and also for the business and the people who have submitted applications for consideration.

The new Boards have representation from National and Provincial Governments, Lae City Authority, Chamber of Commerce, Church and Council of Women and other industry associations required by law and the three administrative or political regions – Anga, Fisika and Huon.

The PEC Decisions for the two Boards have been communicated to the Minister and Secretary for Lands and Physical Planning. As soon as it is considered and appointment formalised and gazetted, the public will be informed on the appointed members.
