We are having the Life Education classroom visit our school from Wednesday 19th March till Friday the 28th March.
This is a fantastic opportunity for students to learn about a variety of health topics.
Life Education Trust is a charity that educates and empowers children to make healthy choices so they can live full and healthy lives. Our Educators with our mascot Harold the Giraffe travel to schools in mobile classrooms to deliver our programme. Please see the below website for more information.

Unfortunately the weather is not looking great tomorrow with potential rain all day and winds as well as 13-15 degrees. With this in mind we have made the early decision to postpone the Colour run to Wednesday 2nd April (Week 10).

Both Akeake teams had an amazing season of Touch Rugby! They represented our kura well and came out with a lot of wins! We had a fun last game versing each other yesterday! Ka pai Touch superstars! Thanks to our coaches Miss Geddes and Wi for supporting our teams 🏉

We invite you to our Colour Run on Wednesday 12th March. At 1:30 we will have some biscuits and refreshing drinks available for our parents. This is a chance to meet other whānau from our community.
At 2pm we will be doing the colour run! Feel free to join your child/children during the run!
Please note: only return the permission form back if you DO NOT give your child permission to join in with the run.
Please pack: white clothes or a white top if possible, a towel.
