Hurray!!! We made it to Harvard.

Rosebud School is proud to announce that our students are representing the nation in 63rd Harvard Model United Nations 2016 (HMUN) being organized at the Sheraton Boston Hotel, MA, Boston, USA from 28th to 31st January 2016 by Harvard University.

We wish them all the best for their first step towards recognition in this global platform. Our students from grade 9, Mr. Aarogya Banepali, Ms. Simran Dhoju, Ms. Suniti Shrestha and Ms. Prashanna Pradhan are being accompanied by the Principal of Rosebud School, Mr. Ranjeet Thapa as Student Advisor and Supervisor.

Dear Parents/Guardians,

This is to remind you all that the school shall resume after 4 days of winter break from tomorrow, i.e. Tuesday, 5th Magh 2072. The school timing shall remain the same (9:45 AM to 4:30 PM) until further notice. SLC Preparation Examination for Grade 10 also begins from tomorrow.

However, +2 classes shall resume only from Wednesday, 6th Magh 2072.

Inter-House Sporting Events in progress, Congratulations to all the Winners!!!

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Owing to genuine concern from your side regarding bitter weather condition and its negative effect on children's health, we have decided to close the school on 3rd and 4th of Magh 2072 thus giving our children a break of 4 days to escape this cold even though it is for a very short period of time. Magh 1st and 2nd are already marked as holidays in the School Calendar.

P.S. The school timing shall remain the same after the break ( i.e. 9:45 AM to 4:30 PM ) until further notice.

Rosebud Students donating warm clothings to the Earthquake Victims.......may their contribution help our fellow citizens breathe a sign of relief in this bone chilling winter. Let us all hope and pray for the wellbeing of earthquake victims throughout the affected areas.

New Year 2016, What a great start !!! Students from Grade 4 to 10 being awarded Certificates of Excellence in various fields. In addition to that, Deserving Sections were provided with the Best Section Award. Congratulations to all the winning sections and dear children for their outstanding performance !!!

The purpose of human life is to serve, to show compassion and the will to help others! Students from Rosebud School, as a part of Joint School Community Service Program, visited Old Age Homes where they distributed woolen shawls and edibles to the elderly residents, a great deal of sharing took place where the young souls with keen eyes witnessed the sands of time in play. Indeed, our children learnt an important lesson, no joy can equal the joy of serving others!!!

This is to notify you that the school shall remain open as usual tomorrow, i.e. 15th Poush 2072. (From Pre-School to +2)

Dear Parents/Guardians,

This is to inform you all that the entire winter vacation that was scheduled from 15th Poush to 5th Magh has been canceled and effective classes will run throughout the period.

We have also decided to postpone our morning timing by one and half hours in order to make a little comfortable environment for our children to escape harsh weather conditions. The school shall begin from 9:45 AM starting this Sunday, Poush 12 until further notice. The evening timing will remain the same. Therefore, we request our parents and guardians to drop your ward at the bus stop 1 hr 45 minutes later than the regular timing. Since our children will be served lunch later than usual, it is important that you provide your child with good breakfast in the morning.

Considering excessive coldness this winter, we have decided to remain flexible with the students' uniform. Students will be permitted to wear their house uniform or ECA uniform with school trousers. Plain jackets in black, brown or grey colors will also be permitted. However, jackets of other bright colors with not be entertained.

The school shall remain closed on Friday, 10th Poush 2072 on the occassion of Udhauli Parva, Yomari Purnima and Christmas.

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Please be informed that the 'Second Term Examination Report Card Distribution' has been scheduled for tomorrow, i.e. Saturday, poush 4, 2072. Please visit the school between 9:00 AM to 11 AM and collect the Progress Report of your wards.

We will have regular school on Sunday, Poush 5. However, the school will remain closed on Monday, Poush 6 as all our School buses including hired ones will be queuing to fill diesel that day.

What a day for Rosebud Cricket Club......Former head coach of Nepal National Cricket Team Mr. Pubudu Dassanayake along with vice captain of National team Mr. Gyanendra Malla and opening batsman Mr. Subash Khakurel @ Rosebud!!! Right now, our ground is filled with cricket heroes training Rosebudians,the level of excitement in our kids is beyond measurement. Hope our kids get motivated learning from their idols.
