Douceur is a sub-style of Urban Kiz and gets a lot of its foundations from Tarraxinha. The literal translation of 'Douceur' is sweetness or softness, which also refers to the type of music that Douceur is mostly danced to.

Douceur is often referred to as meditation for two. The focus lies on connection, on becoming one with your partner, on reaching a state where we forget what is around us and where we are able to express music and emotions together.

Douceur at Generation Kiz means working on the connection with ourselves and with our partner, on musicality, body awareness and micro movements.

New collaboration, new release date!

On Februari 18th the third video of the project will drop. Together with the amazing Monika Zijlma • Mixture Kiz •

Monika and I have a shared passion and vision for kizz. Besides our connection on the dancefloor we are also both part of the Kizz Ryders team! Apart from dance we share a passion for psychology and many of our conversations are hours of analysing the human psyche. Not the hardest guess anymore what this next video in the project is about. Do you know?

Gioia and I have known each other since the very beginning of our Kizz journeys. Over the years we became very close friends. We are both very passionate about the subject of this video and have spent many hours talking about it. Can you guess what it is?

On January 7th the first video will drop of the project. Together with the amazing Ella Tarraxa!

Over the years Ella and I have become very close friends till a point were I can now honestly say she is one of the most important people in my life. The subject is something we discussed and talked about many times. Can you guess what it is?

New year new opportunities 💪 I created this profile to share my dancing activities. There are many new projects coming and it would make me happy if you would follow me in this journey.

Hereby I want to announce the first big project:

People that really know me know of my passion for human rights and climate change. In 2020 I decided to start a project that combines this passion with my passion for dance. Over the course of the next few months several videos will drop about what I think are some of the biggest issues we face at this moment. In these videos I will be partnering up with various dancers that over the past years have become really close friends and with whom I share stories and memories about the specific subjects.

Tomorrow morning 3th of January the first partnership and release date will be announced!
